Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

Declan and Brent should have been first.
The entree was ridiculous. ONE piece of ravioli with dressing.
I hate this 'fine dining' rubbish.
My dad tells a story about when he and my mum went to a posh place once, and ordered McDonalds on the way home just to have something to eat.

Glad the cackling hens didn't get a shot at immunity.

Don't want to sound like a smart arse Megs but it was a raviolo (or raviola...singular not plural)...they are bigger than your traditional ravioli. I think it was a decent size for an entree but I get that it wouldn't suit everyone.

"fine dining" and "haute cuisine" is all very well and good...BUT not if you've got a good appetite! Haha!

But yes, I get your point. Perhaps it was more filling than it looked.
 
Last night's episode - gotta hand it to Brent and Declan, they got thrown a total curveball after picking the tomatoes and thinking they'd be doing savoury, that dessert combination they came up with looked bloody delicious.
Theo and Mel - maybe it's me, but their entree wasn't dish of the day in my opinion, nice enough as it probably was to eat.
The terrible twosome, Cath and Rhiannon - I feel sorry for the camera guys and the sound men, having to record their two bogan voices for an entire episode. Please, let them be the next two to go.
I reckon the final 3 will be all boys - Brent, Declan, Theo.
 
Declan...big sizzle...but bit of a fizzle..
Theo...crunchy! SO good!
