Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

Imagine if the finale of this season was Cath vs Rhiannon LOL
Tonight's Greek cooking team challenge - Theo is Greek so of course his team has this in the bag - which usually means the other team will win.

Phylo pastry? Isn't it filo?
I've forgotten his name, but him in the green with the beardy bits wrote that on his piece of paper!
That's the writer in me!

Shannon shouldn't be pulling his hair back that tightly. Traction alopecia can result!
That's the hairdresser in me!

Everyone thinks that Theo has it in the bag but he's struggling between traditional and 'elevating' the dishes already.

Either Phyllo or Filo is apparently correct.

Blue team's fish stew sounds very complex...not sure I'd tackle something like that in this situation.

Is that why my hair falls out like there's no tomorrow?
If it's long and you scrape it back and tie it tightly, it might be, but it could be just average daily hair fall/loss. The longer it is, the more noticeable it is on the bathroom floor.

I just wondered If Shannons appearance again is to get us ready to replace Jock. Then I remembered Jock hadn't died at this stage, so no.
It would be really good if he did replace him.
I mean that in total
respect to Jock and his family.

How do.people at this stage in masterchef stuff up potatoes to that extent? 😯
They look like something I've done when I'm half cut, not concentrating and wanting to serve up, knowing I've run out of time and hope I'll get away with it!
