Masterchef 2018

...in the promo for the next show we're seeing Ben looking all flustered so it will be pure misdirection as per ususal so he's most likely safe for sure which leaves Jess and Sashi... I think that Jess would beat Sashi in a cook-off so I'm hoping that Jess wins in the end... well she is one of my original girls afterall lol!... thankyou so much for joining in tonight my friends... until the next show folks... cheers.

Not until Sunday

The chef from last night is getting bashed on social media because of the way he spoke to Sashi - ridiculous, this is his restaurant, he's got the right to be hard on these contestants if they're taking too long to get the food out to the patrons.
It's interesting that Sashi isn't great when he's out of his comfort mode and he's got to cook a cuisine that he's not that familiar with, that could be a pointer for the grand final if he makes it.[DOUBLEPOST=1532560035][/DOUBLEPOST]Funny too that Ben for once didn't win by doing a fish dish

I felt Sashi was a bit arrogant not listening to the chef about the pasta.

Sashi did ok with the with Snow Egg challenge. Everyone has struggled at some stage the year, I think people are only noticing it with Sashi more now because it is recent. Need I reminder you of Ben’s lamington/Mezze plate or Jess’ crab. And in Sashi’s defense for not listening to the chefs advice - the three amigos have consistently given him shit advice this year that he has ignored and turned into success. So it’s probably more a habit now

I have no problem with the way the chef pushed Sashi to get everything done on time, that's the job. I thought it got uncomfortable though when he was treating Sashi like a child, telling him to apologise to each waiter, which Sashi was clearly uncomfortable with. Maybe I'm just stubborn like Sashi but I would hate that too.

Sashi was in the special tactics and rescue unit of the Singapore police and also been a prison guard in Singapore and Australia, I’d guess he’s in no way intimidated by the words of a chef. Still it’s a testament to the toxic working culture of the restaurant business. But we know Gordon Ramsay already glamourises and normalises and packages that as entertainment for a living.

Sunday night - the remaining 4 cook on a boat in Sydney Harbour for some allegedly top chefs, the one with the worst dish goes home. It's a 2 hour episode, so maybe the 2nd hour is the final masterclass of the season, the one in which all the top 24 contestants return and the 3 judges have to do that stupid mystery box funny caper shit.
Monday night - the Semi-final, in which the final 3 are cooking for 60 previous Masterchef contestants, the best 2 cooks go through to the grand final.
Tuesday night - the Grand Final, featuring the return of Heston Blumenthal, with a nightmare 6 hour challenge.

Let's hope the Grand final is Sashi vs Khahn or Khahn vs Jess, or Sashi vs Jess.
No Ben, please, much as I like him personally and admire his persistance.
