...I believe that our perceptions sometimes tell the true state of things as they are happening 'Live' without even ourselves being aware of it at times... when we comment 'Live' we are speaking with or hearts and minds as it is right then unfolding in front of us... we shoot from the hip posting 'Live' like that but... our 'gut feelings' are right 9/10 times usually... but seeing that list oddjob sort of confirms our 'gut feelings' are usually right in certain ways methinks!...

...I know that when posting 'Live' that I type and comment with my heart and feelings at the time rather than using my brain and pure logic... and being that I do that it must come across at times as me being 'nasty' about the show and running it too the ground with my sometimes rather 'caustic' comments but it's only because I actually love the show so much and just cannot stand it when Gary and George let the show down with their manipulations that I usually react as I do but stuffit!... that's the way that I am!... even my Avatar describes me as "an old fart that rants at times" lol!...

...anyhow... thanks for posting that list oddjob... at least it shows me (if nobody else) that our 'gut feelings' are on the right track in most cases... cheers.

...I totally agree with this Evan44... and yet again... I still think that he shouldn't even be on this level of the show but unfortunately it is what it is so lets just hope that he goes tonight (and perhaps Chloe tomorrow) just to make it fairer on the other contestants with a chance to win it altogether... minus Chloe and Ben I wouldn't mind which of the remaining contestants win it to be completely honest because it will be a win for the show itself not having the Bozo Brothers having their designated one winning the show... but either Jess or Samira are alright to take the honours if they like!... (they are my girls afterall) ;):thumbsup::biggrin:... lol!... cheers.
 
I don't "hate" any Masterchef contestants either (well apart from Tamara, can I hate her just a little? Just jokes, I'm sure she is a nice person in real life, she was just a nightmare on tv because they allowed her to narrate the whole series).
Chloe too seems nice enough, but is irritating in the context of the show, as was Rose.
Big Red and Ben are slightly different in that they do seem to have an arrogant attitude that is extremely grating on tv.
So I don't hate them, I just find them unpleasant to watch and I would rather someone who is a combination of better cook and nicer person who is not overly hyped by the judges got further in the competition.

...oooh!... that's a good comparison Meglos... I didn't dislike Rose herself either... she just went way too far in that years competition for the same reasons as has been discussed above in earlier posts... but yes... I can see that for sure... cheers.
 
I couldn't stand Rose in her season, she was promoted way above her ability level by the 3 amigos, much as they've done with Chloe this year.
As for the 2016 season - the powers that be decided that Elena was more marketable than Matt Sinclair. I believe they actually put that Heston dessert thing into the finale to disadvantage Matt, because desserts weren't his speciality.[DOUBLEPOST=1531732057][/DOUBLEPOST]So this year, if Sashi is in the finale and there's no dessert challenge, you'll be able to work it out that they want Sashi to win Masterchef 2018

I had to look it up... the only contestants I liked that year were Samira, Rishi and Neha. After Samira was eliminated it was an awful finale.
