Masterchef 2018

...I think that some of these contestants are more concerned about doing some 'showmanship' more than worrying about their cooking at times... they probably think that their 'personality' or 'presence on screen' might make up for their crappy cooking methinks!... this guy right now for instance... there is one shattered ego walking out right there folks!... cheers.

I did laugh at the lady who froze her hot meal with dry ice. What did she think it was gonna do?

...I've always loved Cauliflower but have always hated Broccoli... my mum never forced me to eat Cauliflower when we were kids...but she did Broccili/Corn and Brussell Sprouts... hence my reason for not eating either of them now... lol!... cheers.

Same. Love cauliflower, hate broccoli, peas, brussell sprouts and corn.

I couldn't resist your request delcan so I took a photo of them for you lol!... they may not look all that nice (I should've drizzled something on the plate to jazz it up I suppose to 'hero' the dish I guess?... ;):thumbsup::D)... but they sure as hell tasted great!... I did it on Sourdough Bread with oodles of cheese and lots of cracked pepper and at the last minute (while it was half melted) sprinkled Parmesan Cheese on it thanks to kxk's suggestion... it... was... YUMMY!... that was a great call kxk... thanks!... lol!... cheers.

One of the best meals I ever had was a gnocchi pesto. But it’s like risotto in that when it’s bad it’s fucking awful.
When I try it I hope it's a good one made by someone's Nonna. I don't want to order a bad one from Fasta Pasta or somewhere and be put off for life.

You must find an Italian restaurant with a very good rep.....like @oddjob says, melt in your mouth little potato pasta when done right, or done badly.....horrid rocky lumps.
And also one of my favourite ever meal, gnocci with gorgonzola sauce, omg my mouth is watering thinking of it. I discovered this in Hobart.....it has taken me 5 years but I finally found a place in Melbourne that is as good and delivers.

There is also a gnocci made with ricotta, and in Melbourne you can buy cryovac multi coloured home made gnocci at markets and specialty food places.

I like my cheese more cooked and golden....

And @Mr Stickyfingers if you love cheesy stuff have you discovered the fancy French grilled ham and cheese? Soooooooo good.

Such a happy camper! Watching Episode 1 and feeling happy. MKR was such bovine excretement that it is lovely to be back in my reality happy place . Two thoughts I have the same top as Julie and I reckon Matt would be the best lover out of all the judges. Yep Sticky that includes Nigella. And Adam Liaw ias my favourite winner! His Tweets are funny as. First post typed with my left hand for four weeks.
