Masterchef 2017

What is the space used for usually? I really liked the portrait of the sad girl and the floor painting.
It used to be a dimmeys shop for a while. It is now being used for art installations lol. It is being pulled down to build apartments I believe.

Ratings report:

Launch- 1.17 million up 5% on 2016's 1.11 million

Week 1 average: 1.05 million down 2% on last years opening week.

Week 2 average: 920,000 down 5% on last years week 2.

Week 3 average (not yet consolidated): 950,000 down 6% on last years week 3 average.

Current week 4 average: 880,000 down 13% on 2016's week 4 average,

Current series average:
With Consolidated figures: 980,000
With Unconsolidated figures: 950,000

Overall 2017 is currently rating lower then 2016's total average of 1.1 million by a decrease of 13.6% (150,000 decrease).

This point last year the series rated at an average of 1.02 million vs this years current average of 950,000.

I predict the series will total at an average of anywhere between 950,000 to just under a million. I do hope I'm wrong and that it rates well as it's rating lower than last years series which was already 6% lower than 2015.

Ugggh no Mr Sticky..really?

...hahaha!...you sound like my sweet darling wife talking Lindsay lol!... she cannot stand him either... but I've always liked oddball actors such as Bruce Dern/Donald Sutherland/Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise etc just to name but a few... it's their quirkiness that draws me to them... I just don't always like only the 'same-old-same-old-pump-them-out-by-the-dozen' run-of-the-mill actors that are generated by the Hollywood machine all of the time so Tom fits into the 'offbeat characters' category for me... Johnny Depp is my favourite actor of recent years mainly because of his offbeat roles as of late... they're just different that's all... I like offbeat and different... it's... it's... just... different... lol!... cheers.

...oh brilliant!... thanks for that Dennis... I just knew that you'd come through for us... thanks for taking the time to do this... I really appreciate it... well those figures really are quite telling aren't they?... I can suggest a few things that would get the ratings back up again pretty quick smart for next year... them being...

(1)... replace Gary and George with two other judges... keep Matt... he's the only one that still has any integrity left whatsoever...

(2)... stop all of the 'wankery' with floating dishes/firecracker dishes and 'food art installations' just to name a few... they are a waste of time...

(3)...put the show back to just the contestants competing against each other as it should be...

(4)... whenever the contestants compete against each other include the two replacement 'celebrity Chefs' that have replaced Gary and George side by side them whereby THEY have to cook whatever the contestants have to to give us viewers a gauge as to how professional Chefs cope with the cooking contests... that way... we would know if the tasks are truly difficult AND achievable...

(5)...make the 'blind tests' legitimate... make it so that they really do not have any idea on who cooked what to make it an honest contest...

...anyhow.. they're just a few that I can think of off the top of my head... but some or any of the above can only help the show get out of that ratings slump I believe... does anyone want to add to that list?... cheers.

...evinin' all... my friend Tom Cruise and I are watching this tonight... (he sends his love)... apparently he likes this show too lol!... how are we all tonight?... oh dear... they featured Ray from the outset with his sob story... hopefully this is a good sign that he's going tonight perhaps?... we can only hope can't we?... lol!... cheers.
