Masterchef 2016

Yep. Masterchef has entered the Bullshit-judging zone.

The challenge was about COLOUR not 'inspiration' or 'taste' or whatever else. Chloe served up a YELLOW-GREEN dish without a spec of Indigo in it. Heather's dish was at least the right colour...

So from now on it doesn't matter who cooks what, or how good they are. Clearly the winner has been predecided and anything the contestants do from now on is pointless. Just declare the winner and wrap up the series. It's done with.
 
Ratings update. This week of Masterchef was the highest rating week all series.
Sunday- 978,000 ranked 5th and highest rating sunday show since Launch
Monday- 1,100,000 ranked 4th and highest rating Monday show all series
Tuesday- 1,134,000 ranked 1st and highest rating Tuesday show all series
Wednesday- 1,197,000 ranked 1st and highest rating Wednesday show all series and highest rating episode all series so far
Thursday- 1,002,000 ranked 4th and one of the highest rating Thursday shows all series
Masterclass-810,000 ranked 6th and highest ranking masterclass so far this series

Weekly average for this week was over 1.03 Million. With timeshifted viewers to be added this will most likely be the highest rating week in Masterchef this series as so far. With timeshifted viewers the series is standing at 1.05 Million viewers per episode. Although down on last series however the series average has grown aprox by 10,000 viewers each and every week. The series is doing well and I'm tipping an easy 2 million will watch the winner's announcement however I am not confident enough that it will beat last year's finale. Although in saying that Masterchef this year has ranked 1st in every demo almost each night if not 2nd. Its done wonders for TEN and I'm not surprised they are already casting for 2017 as TEN would be stupid not to renew this show. Its doing well and we have also now entered the point in the show where viewers start tuning in every night more and more to see the final cook off's of the show. This series however in my opinion has lacked quality compared to other series however I am still enjoying it and I take my hat off to TEN for giving us a program that truly shows us that home cooks can cook extraordinary food!
