I just can't stand eggplant. Tried it in all different ways and nope...I hate it. I know I'm probably in the minority but there ya go LOL. I also don't understand the current obsession with parsnips. My sister and I used to hate them when we were served them in school dinners back in England so I thought it might be just a childish petulance...but no. I bought one the other day to test that theory and still hated it. I was also flabbergasted at the price! $10 a kilo.
I'm not fussed on eggplant either. Too slimy.

Totally with you. I hate both taste and texture of eggplant and hate parsnips almost as much as turnips and squash. Bleurgh.

moved into our new house in January. the previous owners had planted three veggie gardens with marrows and eggplants... if felt a shame to throw them out, but i have to admit we only managed to eat one of the rather large eggplants... I don't find it a versatile thing to cook with -all the recipes looked very samey!

The preview looks good - they are using leftovers. I'm excited

...if it's all about left overs it should be an interesting show tonight even though whenever we have left over meat that we don't eat the next day... it always becomes jerky after I've dried it in my dehydrator... no wastage anymore when it comes to meat in our place lol!... cheers.
