...it was more like a race to the finish and an episode dedicated to Marco's talents as a chef more than anything else to me... Cecelia did well because she was following instructions from Marco and not having to think for herself... hence her not being 'confused' tonight...

I guessed that one! And no I find you amusing far more than insane... but then maybe we are all a little crazy... after all we regularly look at a forum for a show who had a crap last season and hasn't been on for 2 years!
 
Odd finish to the episode. I want to get to know these contestants skills more. Marco week was far too early - I'm hoping this is due to scheduling conflicts as opposed to being a producers idea. I am hoping next week will be a normal week and we can see some real skills happening.

Young Marco is on youtube - I saw one of his younger days shows, he was hot and sexy and crazy. And he did that nightmare kitchen stuff before Gordon.
Gordon kind of copied and packaged one aspect of a complex man, and made it showbizzy, & dumb.

I like how Marco is explaining his wild days, philosophising about his character development and insecurities, he is very giving.

...as you say... he is quite a giving man in telling them of his bad times and bad decisions of days gone past... I like him quite a lot but there are also times when he gives me the irrits big time... his decision in keeping that guy tonight being one... the other did so much better than him... for some reason Marco kept that one... that was such a wrong decision as far as I'm concerned... but who the hell am I to tell Marco Pierre White that?... lol!... cheers.
 
But, the guy that left was an idiot - he killed the veg and served bitter peels, having shaky man around he may have had terrible accidents.
Clearly quite a lot are suffering from stage fright and making silly mistakes, there are a lot of shaky contestants.

...yeah but the guy that stayed had left out ingredients and had not filleted the fish properly too... he still shouldn't be there in my books but as I said... who am I to argue with Marco lol!... cheers.
 
Just caught up on last night's episode.
Charlie did really well, then not so well.
I like Cecilia, but she deserved to be in the bottom 3 due to wasting so much time. The "I can't think of anything to cook because i miss my children" card is playable maybe once, but not twice in a row. I hope she survived tonight though.

We certainly need to change the header image...
 
Oh dear only 850,000 for masterchef last night. 9th overall throughout the night however still managed to come 2nd in all demos. The voice bet masterchef in the 16-39 demo for the first time so far.

- letting this community continue
- possibly changing the name back to BehindTV, as you did when 10 ended BB
(preferable title anyway)

...I'd rather keep the name just in case Channel 10 or someone else in TV land Australia brings it back but perhaps put a gallery of all the past winners of Australian Big Brother to replace the ones on top now until a new season begins perhaps?... just a suggestion... cheers.
