I agree with this 100%, if she were to embrace her culture and not deny it my opinion on her would be different. She has mocked her culture from the start (her very first interview was "Herro i am your engrish teacher") which she meant as a joke surely but still isn't doing any justice to the asian community.
 
I would like to re-quote what [MENTION=34936]Boofuls[/MENTION] said about Mikkayla since I agree with all of it:

Talking about mean, I can honestly say Mikkayla is the meanest in the house. She is insidiously mean and she has had it in for Tahan from the beginning. Tahan's mistake was being so open abt the sisters in front of her and she used it to her advantage. I can see her mean streak in her instigating things, encouraging Jade to pursue Ed even after his rejection, her laughing with glee when Tim cut Tahan's curling tong's cord. Suggesting Tim change the Ben's pics n the peeing in the pool remark abt Tahan. She gives that look every time tells abt her life. She's a classic mean girl in disguise. She knows how to butter up to people n tries n spreads around how mean and selfish Tahan is. I bet she has no problems convincing Nathan n will attempt with Justynn but I suspect she's already taken a dislike to him.

I am actually sort of liking the new side to Mikkayla. Where she's getting so worked up over Clooney. I don't know whether it's real or not but it's kind of endearing.

Mikkayla threw a tantrum (again) like a spoiled 2 yr. old. To all those saying she's becoming a mean girl...she always was! Every time they get ready for events, she cries because everyone else is soooo pretty. She's always talking behind people's backs and her facial expressions when someone (else) wins show a lot of jealousy, esp Tahan. She is not only a mean girl but very immature, and as a teacher I don't feel she should be talking about her sex life so explicitly on national TV.

Oh and Mikkayla saying Justynn was "dirty looking" was rude beyond belief! She who is so body image conscious is criticizing someone else, and she calls Tahan a mean girl? I hope Mr. Clooney adopts Justynn as master ;-)

To be fair, she's already said she's not going back to teaching once she leaves and that decision was made before she entered. And I only remember her getting upset the once for BB providing a dress that didn't fit and that was early on in the show so I assume they've sorted out the sizes now. Although I might have missed more references of course! As for everything else you said I tend to agree. Her laugh alone is enough to push me over the edge these days and I actually like her as a HM. :)
 
Mikkayla is that loud, annoying girl who has to be the center of attention all times... in the kitchen (well, anytime food is involved) or with the dog or with any activity she runs and puts herself upfront - it's just too much. I really hope she goes next!!!

I'm over Mikayla though I do love seeing Justynn push her buttons and also Eds who is more rattled by him than Tim

Haah .. now this is sensible. Despite her overbearing behaviour, she does appear to have a sound understanding of the art of preparing culinary delights. Despite the occasional struggle with jar tops.
Yes, I would let her rule in my kitchen.. probably spend a fortune on ear-plugs but, you can't have it all :cool:
 
Her telling Nathan about Tahan's story telling is so boring is another good example of her trying to influence Nathan. Let him decide for him self. She's already hinting to him that they have a nice little clique and he should stick with them.

That was one more thing she did to make me want her out of the house. She has good moments but she has a mean side.
 
Does anyone else feel like Mikkayla is morphing in to Tully v.02? I was rooting for her in the beginning when everyone seemed to have an issue with her and thought she was not a strong player in the game.

But in the last week or so, she's been shifting from being overly aggressive and domineering with other housemates; acting like a two year old having a tanty (like last night in the diary room when she was complaining about Justynn taking Mr Clooney from her) and crying!! Oh and she complains about Tahan being bitchy and making snide comments yet within hours of the intruders entering, she's already complaining that she doesn't want anything to do with one because he looks "dirty" and she wasn't planning on making any effort to get to know them. I thought you were a misfit yourself, Mikkayla? Hmmm?

I just read on the live feeds that she just got in to a heated argument with Justynn over the grocery shopping and then started crying, claiming she doesn't like him. Absolutely piss weak!

Go home Mikkayla.
 
yeah i thought Tully acted liked a spoiled brat when things didnt go her way but after seeing Mikkayla lose her shit about Justynn the last 2 days she makes Tully look well adjusted.

It's funny you say that because I was just thinking today about how my opinion on Mikkayla has changed. I used to find her very annoying and I still do but now I'm starting to tolerate her a bit more and I don't really mind her anymore. I probably wouldn't get along with her in real life but I think she's a valuable HM.
 
It always astounds me that people want to get rid of the fiesty fiery ones. Lets all watch the boring housemates sit around and sing songs sunbake and swim, how entertaining is that!
I thought Mikk was funny when she called Justlynn a dirty book. When you go to a new home to share with other people whouldnt you have a shower, wash your hair and put some deodorant on? He then walks in and tells her he is taking the dog, shes not training him properly and he is taking over the kitchen. I wonder what your response would be? I think I would be a bit cranky too!
