I came back, Bruce talking about the Sphinx being built way before the Pyramids, which is completely wrong. It was contemporary to the great pyramids. There's plenty of pseudo-history claiming otherwise. I assume Bruce probably has heard Graham Hancock talk nonsense about it on Joe Rogan.

Conner is talking about hydrogen fuel cells. Then Allana is talking about Uluru being built horizontally and not vertically.

A true example of what Bruce was talking about is Julius Ceasar is closer to us in History, that the Pyramids being built were to him.

Which also begs the question why there is no token gay man this season.

I know they are usually completely token and stereotypical, but they bring variety and pep to the house and tend to prevent the straight housemates from falling into boring habits (which they definitely have this season). I’m thinking Zack from 2007.

Production’s constant obsession with heterosexual couples is tiring out even the hetero viewers (judging by what I’m seeing on Reddit).

I don’t watch commercial TV outside of Big Brother, my husband (who does) told me the other night that Aussie TV culture is still completely obsessed with white hetero couples. The Block, MAFS, Love Island. So maybe that’s the answer to my own question.
