It seems like they are really tight on airtime this season. In the old days they could schedule a 90 min show and let it run 20 minutes over. Now we can't even get a decent live show.

Censoring stuff from the livestream is dumb since it brings in so many new viewers… the only reason I watch the daily show is to see how it differs from the livestream & without the livestream I reckon I would have have lost interest in the show by now

Nomination shows are live so can air whatever they want during the program. Pre-edited self contained Daily Shows would well and truly need to be finalised, approved and sent to the network by about this time.

Good point. Special exception not impossible though I imagine... Rest of the show could have been finalised, save for walk segment. But yeah now I am leaning more towards them waiting til Sunday.
