I'm actually surprised the housemates don't spend more time doing each other's hair, makeup, etc. it seems like one of the few ways to spend the time

It seemed to be the only way they could talk to "staff" in some moments during the task. As much as staff hated the spa it was the only time they stood still long enough to talk to guests sometimes

Well they can just not place the house in such a vulnerable position or put up higher walls or something.

The amount of stuff that would have been yelled over the walls in previous seasons would have really stuffed up the show. Johnnie, jo, reggie, camilla, Tully, etc would have had endless stuff yelled out.

He definitely has the vibes of the annoying kid in High School that practises making dumb noises at home to annoy / entertain people at school. I'm surprised I haven't seen him jump to touch the top of a door frame.
