IR night vision has gotten really good on modern cameras. Even Hikvision have some pretty great night vision on some of their consumer CCTV products. Of course extra IR lights helps, as @ElevateJay points out.
My mum and her friends used to sit in the "computer room" to watch the old live feed (lol remember when we used to have designated spaces in our houses for using the internet?) and now I'm sitting in my bed watching it on my smart TV!
Anyone getting reminders of an Uplate Brainteaser popping up at the bottom of the screen right about now? Hah!

Probably yes but the tiktok live is only 2 days and then we have to face all the advertisements unfortunately.
Ha yeah I get you now. If I recall correctly, back then we were able to actually switch the cameras on demand and view different parts of the house at any time. Also people with those ‘3’ phones could stream the house live from their flip phones for free
It’s amazing how much they did back then, we have even better tech now as I mentioned earlier it’s a missed opportunity to upgrade their streaming service to match YouTube & Twitch. Like a chat with commands and bots, even just the ability to clip, pause and rewind.
How funny would it be if they went full Kai Cenat Mafiathon style and messed with the housemates while they were sleeping xD 25 Gifted Subs and their beds vibrate, 50 gifted for train horn and 100 gifted for a live drummer solo set
I don’t really use TikTok but I’m pretty certain that’s the like count, not viewers.
I wasn’t keeping an eye on the viewer count the whole time but I think the highest I saw it reach was 5k.
TikTok viewers right now is 1.5K - this shows at the top of the live chat, at least in a browser on a computer. Not sure about smaller devices.
Definitely like count not viewers. The best Professional career live streamers usually peak around 100k-150k concurrent viewers
And not even close to that during sleep stream. Even the best Internationally famous live streamers during a sleep stream will get between 5-25k concurrent viewers
God - sleep streaming is a thing then? More riveting than the TikTok dance trends I guess.
Hopefully it does well enough on TikTok for it to go beyond three days - could be a very useful revenue stream for 10 if they utilise it properly and nowadays you have to go to the audience rather than expect them to come to you.
Are the time stamps in the fan diary Queensland time or Sydney/Melbourne, so are they in bed an hour earlier than we think then? You'd have thought producers would have done more than a Most/Least task to try and keep them awake a bit longer on night one - guess they were in bed by the time the launch show finished in WA.

I’m pretty sure Big Brother was the one that told them to settle down for the night, rather than the housemates themselves. Though he did get them out of bed again for one last task before officially saying goodnight.
Probably the end of shift for the majority of crew. Guess they're replacing Uplate with "In Bed Early".
From bits and pieces of conversations it sounded like the HMs got next to no sleep the first night (launch recording), so I think BB wanted them rested.
