Leaked: Meet the 2025 housemates. And will Australia vote in another on Monday?

Well I'm glad I was late to the party this time round, bbba done it again! 😅

Still very curious as to how @BigSister found the testing page originally, other testing pages are literally impossible to find so they must have an inside connection 🤔

Also looking into the page scripts there is a script called BigBrotherVotingScreen*.js, and it has main text set up for "WHO DO YOU WANT TO SAVE?" so looks like vote to save is confirmed.

Just caught up on this thread! So I know Holly. She would be the model in the BB housemate scramble post they teased.

Many years ago she did Miss Universe WA, absolutely gorgeous but not the warmest person I’ve ever met, although I haven’t seen her in years and people can obviously change.

She’s from Perth but could be living elsewhere now. Pretty sure she lived overseas for a while too. She’d go for long periods of time not posting to socials. When she does post it’s all her luxury lifestyle. She dated a famous rapper for a while, then she disappeared again.

I’m sure she’d have some interesting stories to tell.

She doesn’t sound like too much of an everyday person nor someone I would want to watch but I guess there were always such types and she could still bring good content…I will reserve judgment until it airs I suppose.

Thought I would add that even though she has over 100k followers on IG (her account now private) I wouldn’t consider her an influencer. She’s had her account since IG started and more so just documents her life by posting hot photos of herself. So just because someone has a “big following”, we shouldn’t automatically think they’ve casted another influencer and completely write them off straight away.

Same as you Jessy, having full trust in the casting process and know they’ve chosen who they have for a reason.

100k followers doesn’t really constitute an every day type of Australian. There’s a fame aspect attached to that b

It’s definitely a significant amount of followers, I wonder if she has monetised it ever? I found one article where she was referred to as an an influencer but maybe just for brevity.

What I will say is I can make my peace with it if she is a good HM. Better than a boring everyday person who doesn’t bring anything.

I found an article saying she had a fling with Usain Bolt lol. She does seem like drama and she's obviously gorgeous. I think she could be memorable TBH.

She’s definitely an influencer. I have followed her for a while and she’s constantly posting ads, flashing her designer lifestyle. Definitely not relatable or giving an every day Aussie vibe.

Let’s assume she is there as the token influencer type, it’s not like the OG seasons never had bombshells wanting exposure and many were still amazing housemates. Even Jemma in S1 was very aware of the media opportunities from seeing it in the UK. Hopefully Holly at least brings some drama!

Yeah Tahan didn't have a background that was much different from Holly and she was one of the best housemates ever and Jo was also extremely memorable. Obviously you will get the odd dud with this archetype (Rebecca from 08 was a big miss except for that one night she got drunk) but no more than any other TBH.

Jo absolutely made that season (along with Reggie obviously) and she had a media background and was there partly for exposure. Jo was like a 10/10 perfect HM in my opinion. Emma in 07 is another one. So many.

Someone like Peter in 02 was openly there for the prize money but clearly not wanting fame and it’s hard to imagine someone more boring or dull or bringing less, happy to have influencers over him if they make for good tv.

You can't really compare the famewhores of the 2000s to the famewhores of today. Back then because social media didn't exist (and later on, was still in its infancy) that you couldn't be bland or overtly fake if you wanted to gain any sort of traction of "fame" after leaving the house - otherwise you were just forgotten about or hated.

Nowadays you can just turn up on a reality show and get a healthy boost to your follower count and if you're smart, you can generate long term benefits by taking the right deals/collabs etc. So now they're either on these shows acting bland as fuck or fake as fuck to "generate good TV" - neither of which are that great for those watching the show.
