When I heard the name as 'late night feast' I just understood it to mean its on later than the regular show and feast meaning, there'll be heaps of things in it, that they won't show for one reason or another at 7pm. Just another version of uncut/adults only really. I didn't take the title as meaning it literally for the housemates, and we are watching their late night feast.

Hopefully big brother actually gives us random things from across the week in later shows, and it isn't an arranged 'late night feast' for the housemates each time.

Should probably just appreciate it isn't some kind of BB cookery show.

Less set up, more randomness would be good - though if they do throw a party each week for them it would be good if for the final episode of Feast it's essentially random unseen moments from the season.

What it really needs though is less diary room - really annoying cutting to the DR every 10 seconds!
 
I'd like to hear discussion of serious topics, but just more coverage of what happens in the house would be good really. But sex talk is boring and tedious, the British BB has had lots of that and it just ends up being infantile, and more for kiddies to giggle at than anything actually of interest to adults. And something just set up is terrible, it's like what CH5 did in Britain in recent years, things get staged too much and then it's hardly like BB anymore.
 
I actually liked Late Night Feast. The topics were a good start and I now feel I know the housemates more now!

thinking that they set up this party so they'd have a lot of 'titilating' viewing for the first edition ... which will probably rate its sox off just for the curiosity factor ... and will get people coming back for the 2nd edition ...

as for discussions being "set up" - that has always been the case in my understanding ... they would be given certain topics that they were "suggested" to bring up in discusion in small groups at some point during the day ...

I actually enjoyed the concept of this show however it's going to be really boring by the end of the run if it's all just a piss-fest... I really don't care if it's set up each week however it should be something different each week... And BB shouldn't have to feed them alcohol either just to provoke a different side...

In response to the DR narration I only half agree with you [MENTION=87]Brekkie[/MENTION]... It did get a little annoying having things cut to a shot of the DR all the time but I'd rather the HM's narrate rather than Mike, Sonia, or some other Nine nobody...

The only other thing I really didn't understand was the fact that about 90% of the content was of a sexual nature yet they censored nudity... The show was essentially soft-core porn anyways so it seems rather pointless... I mean nudity shouldn't be a persons main motivation for watching however if it suits the storyline a mature person should be able to process what they've seen... I'm also certain we were told that Feast wasn't going to be Uncut or Adults Only and it was going to deal with mature yet tasteful content... I really struggled to see any difference aside from the one political segment...

I agree... Ed's ass was really the only one to get any real camera time and I was extremely happy with that... Hopefully they are committed to staying the course on this show and we'll see a few more bare bums next week...

What exactly is the problem? Big Brother is a social experiment mainly consisting of young adults. In real life young adults mainly socialise by drinking alcohol, partying, playing stupid games and talking about sex. It makes perfect sense to supply them with something along those lines. It's the most realistic thing and closest to a real social experiment that I've seen on BB in ages.

I do hope there is more random scenes next week, but it was a great ep and it is what Big Brother is all about.
 
DR narration can be a useful tool, but when it becomes used as a crutch too much it can mean the end of natural candid DR entries and the use of it as just a voice of the producers (as happened in the US version). So cautious use of it is necessary. It should be possible for events to explain themselves sometimes as well, you don't have to assume the audience is too stupid to see the obvious, like is often the case in American programming.

I feel exactly the same. Although, I did enjoy it.
 
I really don't understand why they show a PG rated shower segment on Confidential when they could show an uncensored segment on Late Night Feast. Hopefully next week they can do just that and draw a better line between the two shows.

I am not interested in seeing nudity, but if it means more people will watch BB and we will have a 2014 BB, than I am happy with it.
 
BB fans should send in discussion topics - about the house or about life in general :) (but anonymously)

Even though I find Ed attractive I'm also not interested in nudity (his or anyone's). They should stick to adult conversations and mature subjects like refugees, war and stuff. I'd like some sex talks too, but only natural ones that aren't provoked by truth or dares and crap like that.

Surely they shouldn't do a weekly 'late night feast' just for the sake of the adult show. I wouldn't want to sit through it again, especially through those awkward truth or dares, seriously. And it will be a rehash anyway. I don't want groundhog day.
