Last movie you saw

Radio (2003) - An intellectually challenged black man in post-desegregation small town America is allowed to stay in year 11 forever at the local school.

Just found in our Fetch Box movies for the month: A Clockwork Orange!
It's so dated now, but it was an old favourite of mine from the 70s. I'm watching it now for I don't know how manyth (new word 😅 ) time.

Superman (2025)

I fucking loved it. The film starts already in a story that is unfolding, so you kind of have to adjust and get the lay of the land. It assumes you know the basics of Superman. Unlike the other films, this is world were there's other super hereos and fantasy stuff going on. I had a great time and will go see it again.

Jurassic World Rebirth
Basically just a bunch of sequences of people running from Dinosaurs. Not all that much new here, but it was perfectly fine. Better than the last couple of movies because it is literally people go to Dinosaur island and run from dinosaurs. I could give criticisms but there's no point. It's literally just an excuse for dinosaur set pieces and it does that competently. I'm sure younger people who haven't been watching these films for 30 years would really dig it as it may seem new to them.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025):
As someone who hasn't seen the original, I really enjoyed it. Great to see Freddie & Jennifer reprise their roles from 1997. Great plot twist at the end.

Saw it for the second time today (work perk haha). I love it so much! Superman has always been my favourite superhero and this movie delivers in spades. I love the dynamics between supes and the justice gang and Lex is also brilliant.
I liked Man of Steel but this is a different portrayal and I’m here for the next generation.

Also hard disagree on the F1 movie. I’m not into F1 so not sure if that colours my review, but it’s slow and boring, such a ridiculous story whilst also being completely predictable.

Saw The Substance on the weekend. What a strange movie.
I think the producer just wanted an excuse to see naked female bodies, which is fair enough, but in the context of the film, they didn't need to be - and im not a prude!
The film was never going to have a good outcome, given the storyline.
Went from bad to worse with a rediculouse ending.
Demi Moore must have got the award for being brave enough to be naked at her age and ending up like she did.
Anyone else seen it? Thoughts?
