yep !! the dish, matilda etc although i don't have too many dvds i will go out of my way to watch it on the telly but never think about popping a dvd on. unless i'm stuck in my craft room and i will watch the little car dvd player. note to self: get a tv/dvd for the craft room.

Taylia Big W has 25cm portable LCD TV sets with a slot in the side to put DVDs for $297 Haven't tried one out but they look like an ok bargain. Has a rechargable battery and you get to watch TV as well as play DVDs.

No problem........ Aren't tradespeople a bother? But alas we need them as repairs and stuff is something we, most of us can't do.

Today I went to a screening of Dream Of Life, a documentary covering 11 years of the life of singer, poet and artist Patti Smith. A dreamy meditation on life, death, love, family, politics, art, poetry and rock 'n roll. Very good. :)

Sounds intriguing.

Yeah, I don't think you need to be a fan to appreciate it. Unfortunately it was only a one-off screening to coincide with her tour, but it should be released later on. The trailer is up on Youtube if you want to have a look.

I watched 21 last night. It Twas good.

I watched Wall E at the cinema the other week with the kids! It wasn't bad i enjoy a kiddy movie every now and then.....

Iorn Man

Well for all the hype I was severely disappointed. The dialogue was not that great. It felt like the same people that did the attrocious dialogue in Transformers did this movie too. it hd wonderful special effects. but speciall effects do not a good story make.

As a propaganda piece for the US of A it's wonderful. Lots of flag waving moments as americans blow away middle eastern people.

Not impressed 5/10

Saw Mamma Mia on dvd today. all i can really say is i felt unsettled ? i was trying to clean the daughters room up at the time, but still i just didn't feel comfortable with it. maybe i need a couple of 'cardi's first ;)

You didn't break out into song and dance?

Iorn Man?

Last movie is still "The Mummy". At least it was gold class. Currently half way through "Munich" with Eric Bana. He's enjoying it.
