^^ If you liked that one, CLE, you might like 'Duel' made by Spielberg in 1971 and 'Christine' Directed by John Carpenter from the Stephen King book.

I have Duel....... I did have Christine but I found it kind of boring compared to when I saw it when it was brand new.... Gave Christine away.

I'm about to give away the following dvds

stuart little
superman returns
the ice harvest
the man with two brains
the mask
the parent trap (remake with a very young lindsay lohan)

Did you like Superman Returns? I have to rate it as one of the worst films I have ever seen!

On Saturday night we went and saw the new Mummy film, wasn't too bad. A bit of fun romp, and I had a butterscotch 'choc top' so that makes everything better lol.

Peters Blue ribbon icecream is yummy too... But they used to make that with buttermilk which was even yummier..... But now they don't because everyone is so fricking paranoid about fat... paranoid I tell you ....... End of mini rant :)

Back to movies I thought Superman Returns was a stinking pile of turd.... I watched it only once

I saw The Mudge Boy, which I taped the other night.

One of the most harrowing films I've seen. I can hardly believe I was on the edge of my seat for the sake of a flipping chicken!

Story involves an effeminate outsider of a boy coping with the death of his mother. Tragedy ensues when the boy tries to fit in with a local gang of hicks.

I had to debrief myself with some Kid A after this film, though my perspective was definitely broadened. A very powerful, low key film.

WHY??? A great giggle-worthy movie! Back when Steve Martin was funny!
And it's got Kathleen Turner in it too.

Pointy Birds.
Pointy Pointy.
Anoint thy head.
Anoint Anointy.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I can envision a day when the brains of brilliant men can be kept alive in the bodies of dumb people. "

I know it's funny and yes Kathleen Turner is yummy.... But I've seen it a few too many times and all........ Hey if you want it you can have it I can post it to ya. Just PM me.

The Mummy 3.
Hellboy 2
The Strangers.
GB is hottt.

...oh really? Thanks....

I've seen two of those, The Strangers was excellent and quite scary indeed, with a very funny Johnny Cash style soundtrack just in the ominous bits. We saw The Mummy today too in gold class, great special effects, loved the yetis, ya de ya da...

Tropic Thunder... I found it funny lol

I also wanna see The House Bunny, Eagle Eye and Wild Child in the next few weeks!

Captivity on DVD.

Basically it's torture porn and it's prob one of the most fucked up movies I have seen in a while lol

In the tradition of SAW and HOSTEL a young hot Paris Hilton type actress (Elisha Cuthbert) is abducted and kept captive in an underground cell and is put through various tortures.. It was really good and intense up until about half way through then it just gets stupid! It's a shame..

But watch it for the squinting your eyes in horror at what he puts her through moments. :p

MY friend saw Wall.E the other day and said it was horrible, so I won't be seeing that.

Sometime this week I'm going to go and see Step Brothers, it looks so funny. Has anybody seen it?

I've heard good reports on Wall E, Jay. I work at a drive in and so i often ask the customers what they thought and so far everyone's loving it so maybe you should see it for yourself.

Wall.E probably isn't a good movie if you're a 14 boy imo. LOL It's almost a silent movie from what I've heard.

Oh ok.. Sorry, he didn't say it was horrible he said it was just boring and half the time you don't even know what he's doing. I might just go see the movies I really want to see first and then I might see Wall E. If not, I'll just rent it out:)

^ Yeah, but it has a really good title. :p

I hardly ever watch movies, out of laziness more than anything. But last night one of my favourite actors was on Rove, Richard E. Grant. I adore him. He's so witty and charming. :o So last night I watched Gosford Park again. It's really good, mostly because he's in it! I want to see My Fair Lady now for that reason (he's in it), but I've already splurged too much on entertainment lately. Tickets are so expensive. :(

Wongo's title was the reason hubby purchased it! :D

My fave Richard E. Grant film is Withnail & I, closely followed by Hudson Hawk.....he is simply outstanding in both of them :)

"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!". :p

Withnail & I is one of my all time favourite movies. I never get sick of it, and so quotable! I haven't seen Hudson Hawk though. I'll have to watch it now. :)
