I have to disagree, Priya stood behind Gemma when everybody else ganged up on her,she comforts housemates when they are emotionally unstable, she is the go to person when the house needs stability, she is intelligent, mature and is the most approachable in the house. She knows how to speak to people without causing conflict or drama. She has good soul and I think the housemates admire her and so do the public. She's a stand up type of woman who many could aspire to be like. I could go on but I think the point was made. Sorry we couldn't agree.

Honestly, all these Priya 'qualities' smack of insincere. Gemma's eviction moment, while sweet, was definitely a strategic move. She knew it would show her in a good light. Her 'comforting' housemates often seems an empty gesture; her words are so hollow because she says the most basic, cookie-cutter phrases that have no sincerity or depth. I find her guarded and unimpressive. Going to the diary room and airing your observations of the housemates is pretty pointless when your interactions with them are so uninspiring.

She's also two-faced, and a liar and I can't stand that (exhibit A: Aisha's $20,000 power play). If she came straight out and said she didn't give a phuck and was playing the game, then I'd have more respect for her. But she tries to also act like she is a sincere person, and that's just hypocritical.

I never got the Priya fuss. I feel like she is contributing nil to the house.

I still stand by my claim she doesn't do much.

You've got some moments, but there's plenty of moments for most people you can pull out. It's just harder because they do a lot more and so you don't have 5 memories of things they've done to chose from. You have dozens and dozens.

The Priya worship here is massively overhyped.
I think she is quite manipulative and her intention always is to start fires, metaphorically so anyway, that result in conflict in the house.
A good example was the other night, when she very purposely baited Lawson about Cat and Candice.

Just like Ben (2012)!

Yep, Madonna started all the worship bullshit that Tim got on board with. He's very quiet.. must be sleeping off the pingas

How was she "baiting"?

The Priya worship is funny, I think. Something distinctive and hyperbolic during this pretty drab and mismanaged season. I wanna see the girl play, though. I'm still giving her the benefit of the doubt, but the lady has yet to deliver the vindaloo of drama or the sacred cow of strategic wisdom or the sticky sugar sweets of high humour hilarity.

I agree with everything you wrote. I certainly do not see the allure. Now her little lapdog Jason has been evicted, it will be interesting to see who she rails in as his replacement as the gossip hound to fill her in on what the others are up to.

I like how you do what you did when you do here! :)

I agree about the Gemma moment. It was strategic and nothing to do with Gemma.
