Is Lina ethnic Chinese or was she just born there?

I thought about this question and decided to google it. It is what I suspected.

In the West, when a child is born, he or she is zero years old. In Chinese culture, babies are already one-year-old when they are born.

Even with one year difference though being 6-7 in 1989 would make her 31-32 now wouldn't it? Or have I lost the plot lol.

Nancy Drew here's quite right. Well done.

Whoa.... if you didn't like V from Archie, well I'm not sure what I can even say to that. I'd much prefer the sassy and confident Veronica over that bottled blonde bore Betty. They're almost like the Tahan and Jade of Riverdale.

Speaking of Riverdale, apparently they're making an Archie show with a hint of Twin Peaks!! http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment...-with-a-twin-peaks-twist-20141028-11cpr5.html

I didn't particularly care for either to be honest. Principle Weatherbee however, now he carried himself with a....a 'George Brandis' panache and refinement that affirmed his c-card carrying bourgeois sex appeal. *gulps*

I read that she was the first western baby born in some hospital in the region after the Tiananmen Square massacre (1989). That would make her 25 by my calculations.

Ah, okay thanks...I swore I heard her say she left China in 1989 when they had an earthquake but I must not have.
