Is Ed being faithful to...

That's pretty mean if they are.
Jade just really likes Ed....everyone has been like that with someone in life and she's harmless.
If he turned around and pulled away when she kissed him she'd stop it immediately, he plays his part in this as much as her.
 
I'm going to go the other way a little on this. I don't think Ed is a bad person. He has definitely gone in the house with a plan to win and I think that plan did not involve hooking up with a chick. He is trying to project an image of himself, whether that is a honest depiction of who he is truly I do not know. My own guess is he is probably a decent guy but for sure a playah when it comes to girls.

He loses a bit of self control as pertains to Jade when he has had a few grogs, can't hang the guy on that, it would take some epic self control to knock back a girl like Jade.

In saying all that Ed can't win but I think he is unwittingly helping Jade's popularity. At first in this whole Jade and Ed thing I was really over Jade and just chalked her up as another up herself good looking blonde thrown in by the producers. I think I was wrong. Jade seems very nice, and is just smitten by Ed.

I agree with the summation by MissKlee in post #20.

They obviously disapprove of Jade and I can't stand the snide comments that make about her...it's so rude!
Hoping boring Ed goes this week, maybe it wi teach them all a lesson!

I can name many things this so called 'wonderful' group of family and friends have bitched about. Here are just a few:
- the stupid brother (guess twins are alike) basically called Jade out as being not humble when she critiqued Tully's catwalk, quote:
"She seems to know what shes on about when it comes to "Milan techniques", you only have to ask her! Wow - modesty isn't her forte!"
- because the Ed Lower FB page is run by family and close friends they often post photos of Jade and Ed having some intimate moment with a rude caption like 'Like this if you think Jades kiss was a desperate attempt....blah blah' and 'Who thinks Jade will go next week?'
- the sister also runs the FB page and there was this photo posted of Ed and Jade kissing and she was the first to comment (obviously planned) writing the words 'YUCK!', this was the most liked comment because they're obviously jealous of Jade
- stupid dumbass Fifi Box (I used to like her b4 she made this comment) wrote a tweet basically along the lines of 'Good on Ed for pushing Jade away....blah blah.....she's trying too hard'. The stupid brother then replied with a tweet asking if she though Jade would make a good step-sister then writing '#hopenot'
- if you read the blog enough u can see the subtle digs they have at Jade while defending Ed as if he has done nothing wrong.
Stupid stupid bunch of ppl!

All of this. The sister has written some horrible things about Jade.

If I was Ed I'd be truly embarrassed about some of the ignorant, educated, disgusting things his siblings have written.

*my assessment of Jade - I think Jade is kinda sweet but dim. She's obviously immature by the way she is handling her infatuation with Ed. She really should have stuck with Drew but she couldn't overcome her desire for muscular men like Ed and Matt. If Drew were similarly built like them, he might have had a chance. Perhaps as she grows older, she will overcome this shallow part of her. I don't find her attractive (I think Tahan is better looking but boy is she a bitch) so my defense of her has nothing to do with her looks, I just think she's a girl with low self esteem who has perhaps been getting through her life using her looks not her wit or street smarts. Ed really should done better in this.

I am however bothered by the double standard seen among viewers who blame everything on her and none on Ed. Guys -- this is a double standard and is SEXIST. It takes two to tango and Ed is equally culpable. This culture of forgiving men for "being men" while shaming girls for being sexually assertive has got to stop. Wish Nick as a role model as a footy player would take a stand on this matter as well. Love and support your brother, yes but when something he is doing isn't right or if Ed's fans are blaming and slut shaming Jade while letting Ed entirely off the hook, you gotta say something against that, mate."

Now look at what the stupid brother writes (I just quoted the bit that concerns the reply)

And Jade is not the only one that fell for it, the other girls (Mikkayla, Heidi and Jas) also go all gaga for him especially at the start. Remember at the start Heidi was always going on how his is so perfect. She was the one that came up with the term Prince Charming.

I had a look at that post by Ed's brother - the point of his reply was to tell this Azul person how offended they were that he/she continually made statements about Ed having a racial agenda when voting for Mikkayla. He said that they have an adopted relative of Asian background and that the family find the blogger's comments entirely untrue.. It was not a comment about Jade. This Azul person wrote an essay on his/her thoughts and the family chose to respond to the racial remarks only... You may have misread it but it's pretty clear. You have also done some clever editing of the post and response, my friend!

I know that he did post stuff before about ed voting for Mikkayla and I even stated that I only put in what I though was relevant (please read). I just find it odd how he doesn't even mention the whole Ed and Jade commotion even though the azul wrote such a long piece about it, why address one issue and not the other? He obviously chose to avoid the Ed/Jade topic because he knows that Ed is in the wrong and obviously doesn't want to admit to it but I can't stand the fact that they till make snide comments about Jade and act as if Ed is till Mr Perfect who is just being 'himself'. He's probably just in denial....
 
I'm reposting this for the 3rd time because I want Ed out. His tweet to Karl while Karl was on the NRL Footy Show and Heidi was doing the slide thing. Thanks for implying those of us who watch your brother are dumbasses Nick. See ya in the dole line now that you've been sacked.

I think the issue is Ed & his brother have spent a few years as pseudo-rockstars ie AFL players. Ed would think about his media presence in ways regular people don't relate to.

If it wasn't for AFL, Ed would be a nobody boofhead. I'm liking Matt more, at least Matt has a proper job & seems very reliable.
 
Yeah I think his family have a bit of a stuck up vibe to them.
Surprised how Jade isn't good enough though considering she's an Italian, a successful model and from her footage in the house is a kind, sweet and generous person.
But with a family like that I'm actually glad Ed isn't close with her, I've seen families like this one...if you aren't in their criteria they make your life hell.

I hope the family gets a nasty shock along with Ed when he's evicted.

I think it's because the other girls know there's no point liking a guy like that. It's not that they didn't fall for it, but they just know he'd never go for them and they also aren't interested in that. They can admire him, say nice things, but they know there's no point wanting more.

Jade has the attitude, 'i'm a bikini model, so I should get him. I could get him. I deserve him.'

I think they have a sense of entitlement, like you see with some of these know-nothing footballers. All the pics in his brother's blog show them partying http://mylittlebrotherinbigbrother.blogspot.com.au/

Ed will want a trophy wife so Jade doesn't yet qualify. He would want a hot blonde with at least a degree, somebody who can support him financially.
