My apologies Melore. I am not yet familiar with standard human thought processes.
Let me try to make my point again in a manner which you may find less objectionable:

My random, poorly-analysed, gut feeling is that CS1 is Aisha and this belief is in no way conditional upon the premise that CS1 actually be in the house because I am too emotional and irrational to even understand the concept of a conditional statement, let alone form one. Also, I have not based this opinion from any information provided from the 52 pages of posts contained within this thread.

Logic dictates that the appropriate emoticon here is :p

Ahh okay, ta. :thumbsup: So even still, searching for Camerashy (without the 1) they only joined Oct 31 2012. So that's just on 2 years ago.

That would make Aisha 20 back in 2012... not outside the realms of possibility really. Are there any strong feelings as to why CS1 couldn't be Aisha?

My observations exactly.

Furthermore, one can plausibly imagine that Aisha would come across as much older than her age on a forum such as this if one takes into acount Aisha's own words from her bio on the BB site:

I have always had a very mature nature about myself, and often people say I have a bit of an old soul which I don't find offensive.

Of course, none of this proves that CS1 is Aisha.
All we can really say is that none of the data supplied so far has yet to contradict the hypothesis.
 
I just read some of camerashy's posts. They referred to themselves as your "average Australian" and referred to tv shows such as the Chaser's war on everything. Also referred to Tim B's obsession with Kate many many seasons ago. Way before Aisha would have been living here.

Let me address your 3 points:

1. There are many who identify themselves as "average Australians" who are not originally from Australia. Based on what we have seen of Aisha on the show so far, it is not implausible that she feels this way about herself.

2. The Chaser's War on Everything was aired internationally. According to Wikipedia:
Countries which broadcast the show include Finland, Israel, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Norway, Belgium, South Korea, and Poland. Twenty other countries are already in negotiations with ABC1 to transmit the series including Canada, Denmark, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.

3. I believe the biggest Big Brother fans have gone back and watched previous seasons they may have missed on youtube. And I believe we can all agree that CS1 was a very passionate fan of the show.

So you see, although this information casts a little doubt on the hypothesis, it by no means refutes it.

I agree with what you're saying. I actually don't think the housemate behind camera shy (if they are a housemate) will come forward and admit it is them.

How did you read her posts? Isn't her profile private?
 
Camerashy had a sweet tooth didn't she? I'm pretty sure that she was hooked on muffins from Coles for a while there and blamed not being able to sleep on the sugar high from them? Does Aisha like sugar a lot?!

I hope Camerashy is ok wherever they are!
 
Aisha doesn't seem like the kind who will be stuck in a forum a lot. She'd probably have a life full of parties, clubbing etc than stay at home stuck on a forum.
