lol - the reason people falls "in love" is the CHOICE of chain of events reciprocated from both parties. I once had a huge crush on someone with a gf before. I didnt let it get past a friendly banter. He was very flirtatious with me, and believe me he was gorgeous and the temptation was there. If i choose to go down Cat's lane, i can easily falls in love with him too. But i have too much respect for myself to even come close to that. EVERYTHING is a choice, they're not always easy, but there's always a choice.

Yeah that's a whole hell of a lot of guessing going on when we don't know the circumstances of why she was that weight and for how long, nor her feelings about being that weight. She may have gained the weight after moving in with her partner as many do and only kept it on for a brief period of time for all we know. I haven't seen any signs of insecurity with Cat. An insecure woman doesn't say what she did above. There are a lot of words I'd use to describe her but that would be near the bottom tbh

I also think she is insecure on the basis of how she interacts with Lawson and the other housemates. I do think she is deluded, or likes to put on a facade, when she talks about how hard it is being attractive. I think she presents a deluded front, but is insecure on the inside.

She is definitely delusional and insecure thats for sure. But when did she say it's hard being attractive? was she talking about herself? If so, she is definitely smoking some good crack. She is not attractive at all.

She said it in her introduction video. I think she's attractive. But I guess people are attracted to different things.

Both were equally boring/interesting depending from where you stand on the cheating 'ethical' issue I suppose. I can't see in what aspect they would differ significantly that a person could argue it makes one instance of cheating more 'interesting' than the other.

Personally I was bored by most of Tully's antics and I found her 'showmance' with Drew as fascinating as any other aussie teenage soapie on tv, that is it was derivative viewing and not worth a second of my time.

That said Tully infuriated me because she still had the hide to pretend that what she was doing with Drew had not crossed the line and persisted with that stance even after she got out.

At least with Lawson and Cat to their credit there's some semblance of awareness that what they're doing is wrong. Whereas all I got from Tully was weaselly spin that a pollie would be proud of.

Just on another note....has any relationship thats started in BB continued for long after they've left??? I remember marty n jess got married but that didnt last long. ..and drew and whatsherface didnt either... cant remember any others lol

I can understand that the Clawson relationship is a polarising one (for other reasons). But I'd hate any passer-by who happens to Google their way to this forum, to get the idea that this is how we all feel about age gaps in relationships. Or worse, any member who is in a committed relationship involving an age difference, to feel uncomfortable.

I know a woman married to someone 15 years younger than herself... and they have been married for over 20 years. And no matter what other people say about their marriage, she certainly doesn't see a toy boy when she looks at him... all she sees is her husband.

I think age only matters if they are not on the same page ie future wise...or the maturity levels are completely out of wack. And 7 years isnt really that big of an age gap I feel imo.

From what we can see in the kissing clip they are really going for it. They are really into each other. They aren't thinking straight and I don't think they care anymore. Let's hope it doesn't get them evicted because they will definitely be up for nominations next week.

I think she's attractive (on the outside), but in no way attractive enough to feel like it's been a BURDEN for her. That's...bizarre.

An age difference is a factor for some people yes, but it's a factor that's a matter for the two people involved, not the peanut gallery. And even then, it might be an issue of meeting in the middle somewhere, and finding compromises. Plenty of people have to do that regardless of being the same age.

I definitely think that whoever among the housemates is getting out their pitchforks because Cat and Lawson kissed again... they should lay off the age difference (and the fact that Cat has been divorced) before they start sounding like bigots.

If they wouldn't carry on in front the whole country about one of them being black while the other is white, or one of them being tall while one is a dwarf, or one being Catholic while the other is Jewish... then perhaps they should be respectful to all people who are in different relationships, by laying off the age gap and the divorce.

Maybe she is so blasé about Candice because she's been there/done that with a long relationship ending (aka her marriage). You'd think that'd drum up some sympathy in her, though it appears to be the opposite.

To be fair, that's not a very good angle, the photo 2 pics later shows more of Cats body and she doesn't look fat to me.
