...apparently on tonight's show they will have Sandra Sulley telling the camp mates about 'World News' in her 'Jungle News' section... this segment will be as useless as tits on a bull in my opinion... WHY do they need to know any News from the outside world?... they are going to be out in a few days anyway?... if anything... Sandra should tell them stuff like...
"Pauline Hanson is our new Prime Minister after Malcolm Turnbull was stabbed in the back by all of his Cabinet members who are now serving Life sentences for doing the right thing by Australia" or...
"because Tony Abbott is no longer Prime Minister and cannot 'get away with it' anymore he was arrested on Bondi Beach for indecently wearing see-through 'budgie smugglers'... he will be serving a five year Jail sentence" or...
..."Kyle Sandilands has had a personality transplant and is almost a human being now" or...
..."Tziporah Israel or whatever her bloody name was has changed her name back to Kate Fischer because nobody knows who the hell she is" ...

I’m A Celebrity’s Tom Arnold reportedly locked in a bitter legal war with Channel Ten

CHANNEL Ten has hit back at claims made today about a bitter legal war brewing between the network and former I’m A Celebrity campmate Tom Arnold.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford revealed the story on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning, claiming the dispute is over $US140,000 which Ten reportedly refuses to pay Arnold for his work on the show, and scrapped plans for a comedy tour of Australia.
However, Ten has shot down Arnold’s accusations, declaring them “unfounded and misleading.”
“Network Ten will not discuss the terms of a confidential agreement that was signed by Tom Arnold after legal and PR advice was provided to him, but we can confirm that Ten does not owe him any money under our agreement with him and we have made all payments owing to him.
“Any suggestion that Ten has not acted in good faith is unfounded and misleading. Tom Arnold’s only agreement with Ten was for his appearance in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!.
“Ten understands that Tom Arnold’s agent and lawyer were exploring a tour option for him, however, due to his performance in the jungle, the tour operator declined to proceed with the tour.”

But Ford says the comedian had a very different interpretation of the contract.
“Tom Arnold believes he was working under a ‘pay or play’ contract, which means you get paid no matter what,” he told the KIIS FM hosts.
“If you’re doing a TV show and it gets cancelled, or if you get voted off, they’ve still gotta pay you.”
However, as he explained, Ten “clearly believes that’s not what the deal was.”
“They have paid Tom, so far, an amount of $US270,000,” Ford said.
“Let’s be clear about this. There’s been various figures floating around — Tom Arnold was being paid $US410,000 to take part in I’m A Celebrity.”
That’s a large sum of money to most people, but according to the reporter, it was less than Arnold would have earned if he’d stayed in the US and accepted a different job offer.
“According to people that know him [Arnold], he could have gotten more if he’d been around to do a Superbowl TV commercial — one day’s work,” Ford said.
“But he wanted to do I’m A Celebrity because he’d been promised — according to insiders — a comedy tour of Australia for midyear.”
Arnold now believes Ten has “completely reneged” on that after “promising to organise it for him.”
“He feels very, very ripped off by what happened,” explained Ford.
Arnold’s pay has been a consistently in the spotlight since his departure from the jungle.
The funnyman, who was the first person voted out of the show, surprised many when he responded to a fan’s tweet last month asking what had convinced him to sign up for I’m A Celeb.
“$600k-$700k,” he replied, saying he was “Out of comfort zone. Scared. Embarrassed” on the show.
After a statement from Network Ten saying they were “contractually unable” to counter “inflated figures thrown around by celebrities,” Arnold then tweeted that his earlier claims were just a joke.
“Was joking. I don’t even [sic] what I got. and it’s a violation for anyone to seriously discuss. I got $1 for every maggot I ate so could be close,” he wrote.
“Jerks brag about salaries. Dad told me that so he didn’t have 2 give allowance but It was already in paper. Still classless move. I’m sorry,” he continued.

It's ridiculous, but if TEN entered into any kind of deal, they should honour it. If they are stupid enough to waste their money on arrogant international celebrities who bring nothing to the show, that's their problem.
Carson on the other hand is worth whatever they are paying him because he is engaging whole-heartedly in the experience (as was Maureen last year).

You are starting to challenge the celebs whining, the news, is for us - like it was done in bb, to dramatise they have been isolated.
And I love it, the choices they make are always very weird, the reactions are usually odd, most will only want to hear entertainment shit, oscars etc.

...hahaha!... that's the trouble kxk... I do like this show... in fact... I love it!... I just think that giving them the news is time filling dross that's all... they've been there for however many weeks without knowing any... why bother now?... as I said in my original post... all they do is sit there and 'oooh! and aaaaah!'... and say 'no waaaaaaaay!'... I'd rather them use what little time that they have in there and what precious little viewing time that we have left to put them on another sling shot or high wire type task instead of listening to that drivel that's all... we saw it last year and it was just plain boring viewing (for me at least)... so technically we have seen it all before... the show should be going out with a bang and not a whimper... even Survivor had suspenseful thrills to the last day instead of them all just sitting there 'ooooohing and aaaahing'...
...we have just what?... 4-5 more episodes left?... finish it with thrills and spills not boring dross like that I say... obviously Alex has run out of ideas now and is desperate to fill vacant spots now... why not redo some of the more thrilling highwire tasks or slingshot tasks and pit them against each other and not for camp food?... whoever passes the task gets a luxury item of their choice for instance... or luxury food that they want to eat and if they felt generous towards the losers they can give them some anyway... at least it's a competition for themselves only for a change... it would liven up things in camp I believe... make the last week a fun ordeal for them all instead of the disgusting tasks that they've diligently done for the past few weeks... make it fun for us too now... I mean... we've fully supported this show all the way so far... don't let it fizzle into nothingness with crap like 'Jungle News'... we deserve better than that as far as I'm concerned...anyhow... enough of me prattling on... that's my take on it anyway lol!... cheers.

They have only been in the jungle for six weeks. It is nothing compared to being away for 3 months on Big Brother! There isn't (usually) going to be something too shocking or dramatically changing in the world in the six weeks the celebrities are away.
And should I mention as well of the unnecessary time and MONEY to fly Sandra Sully all the way to South Africa and back for this? Ridiculous!

I must apologise to Kris Smith for being so hard on him in the jungle. After having my eyes open to what Alex Mavroidakis is doing on the show I realised there was never any interest by Kris to the happily taken Tegan. It was a complete fabrication of the executive producers minds. Watching back on the show Kris doesn't even talk about Tegan let alone "liking" her. I wonder how Kris and Tegan feel about this lie? Be warned. Alex Mavroidakis likes to push the storyline of affairs and cheating. He struck gold with Tully and Drew in BB13 and on every damn show he works on is trying to emulate this see the examples : Cat and Lawson, Sandra and the unreciprocated Sam both on BB14 and Shane Warne and Havana Brown on last year's Celebrity.

...I said from day one when Tom came in that I liked him because of his movies etc... and although he was a bit of a dud in the jungle (because I think that he was just plain out of his depth to be honest)...I'll still like him regardless... as with Nazeem... I would pay to watch him for sure... cheers.
Tom did express surprise afterwards that he had had to actually camp in the jungle - seems he thought they would get lovely little cabins with private hot tubs or something. He clearly had no idea what the show entailed going in, and that seems to extend to the contract.
