It was more sad seeing the demise of the inflatable couch that seeing the demise of inflatable Jo Beth. Pretty glad she's gone, she was contributing nothing there at the end. Plus I think she's only pretending to "like" Laurina to save face. She's much too mature to hold a grudge, don't ya know. All her compliments are always underhanded or self serving - anyone else noticed that?

This is based on a pretty standard type of trial, but I think the murky water and unreachable corners make it a bit too hard? Good effort anyway. Havana always gives the trials her best.

In other news, down here at Burrill Lake, we have just heard that two of our party cannot attend at all due to an (expected) death in the family. (98 years old).

.......and when I arrived here today it was not long before the two who were here already were taken ill and had to be carted off to the local hospital.

I may be the last one standing

Unfortunately, they were sent home at about 6.30 pm so I NEVER got to watch tonight's show

Now, I have to keep an eye on them, in case they start vomiting again in the night.

LOL at Fev and Warne's reaction to the Lyon/Brownless news.
It was a look of surprise all right.
Surprise that the cat was out of the bag.
Fev and Warne are very very close mates with Lyon. Moreso Warne. And Warne wouldnt have hesitated to tell Fev in the unlikely event he didnt know.
I can almost guarantee Warne knew.

Why would that not surprise me. I am not so sure that Fev knew though. The sad thing is that they might have known at all.
 
Brownless was a member of the channel 9 boys club but at a lot lower ranking. Maybe Fev didnt know originally but was told by Warne for sure. For a man who claims to hate salacious gossip about celebs he wouldnt have minded spreading the news. Cos it kinda re-inforces his position in the higher echelons of the boys club.
The channel 9 boys sports club in Melbourne is notorious.

Yes, good news for Laurina and her father. As for the football, it's what their world revolves around (sport that is). Shane's only comment on Trump was about his hair. Nothing about how Trump will influence the world etc etc.
 
Paul getting more airtime tomorrow night with the trial. He didn't get much tonight. Anyone else not getting much?
 
I like Jo Beth, I believe her that she and Laurina were able to move on after the initial bitching.

The celebs really are going stir crazy. Fev farting out a fire is not even marginally amusing on my scale.

Bigger news would be have be that no footballers were having any affair.

Laurina was able to move on, but Jo Beth kept up the little bitchy comments and whispering, and all the bitch faces; and it was very recent that she pulled that stunt that Warnie pointed out as going too far - when she waited until Laurina was 50 yards away from the pond to say, Laurina did you leave the mirror behind? in a pointy voice, when she Joe Beth could either have alerted her earlier or just been a decent sort and picked it up herself. Also, Warnie has had to pull Anthony aside to warn him the Jo Beth bitchery he was engaging in was not a good look.

So I think she has smoothed things over for external appeal - whereas Laurina really did forgive and forget a good month plus back.
 
I think it's funny how Laurina and JoBeth are over what happened between them but others are still propagating it, reading things into every look and nuance lol!!! It's funny sometimes how some opinions aren't fluid at all. Oh well. PS JoBeth was spot on about Darryl Somers. Some of the stories I've heard about him would make you want to pop his big head with a pin.

Wow. Just wow. That's a bit rude. The other is right here!

It's funny how some people talk about people in front of their faces as if they are talking about them behind their backs and try to garner a cohort to agree with them, and then congratulate themselves for ostensibly having clear minds and fluid opinions, while missing nuance, subtext and factual footage! Oh well.

Shane didn't have to pull Anthony aside at all really. He chose to for some unknown reason. Leave them alone Shane and they'll dig their own graves, so to speak.
