Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2016) - Episode Discussion

Dean works in showbiz, he cannot avoid gay people. He would could never work in Hollywood if he was homophobic surely.
He is an odd one however.

Edit - team Laurina
Evict - Warne

Mel Gibson worked in Hollywood for a long time despite being homophobic and antisemitic.

I think the producers may have just told Shane he's out of shape (ie not a match up for Paul or Brendan).

True @oddjob, yet he hid until drunk mostly
Warne & Fev,hmm, they sure do not have a way with women do they'.
Fev - He never used to listen to his wife???WTF
Warne - I would gladly fart on his puffy face.

Ad break. I'm just wondering how much of that was even genuine? Did Laurina really smuggle KFC back of her own accord, or was that part of the script? Were Anthony and the others back at camp really not sure how to cook a drumstick and really that dejected about their dinner? Because normally they would be happy to get a piece of chicken for dinner, even a small piece.

This has got Mavroidakis' greasy finger prints all over it.

Episode 11..the gun discussion,Dean is right you can get rid of all the guns but if the criminals still have the guns
then how do you defend yourself,it happens here all the time

I would need a pen and paper for algebra. Maybe write in the sand?

Edit: Go Laurina. :)
Yes I would have needed that too
I tend to side with Shane asking Val to do it in her head rather than out loud because that would have been putting everyone else off ... however she chose to ignore him and then he got rude about it ... so he needs to learn to be a bit more diplomatic and not so dictatorial in his dealings with the others
he's starting to display symptoms of Grumpy Ole Fart syndrome ... oh wait ... I'm not allowed to say that ... ummmm

will Grumpy Ole Anal Retentive Git suffice?

:angelic:

I watched most of last night but missed the KFC thing...what was that about?

The team that won the tug'o'war got KFC for dinner, the losing team got 1 chicken leg. Then when the winning team went back to camp Laurina apparently took a KFC chicken wing with her back to camp.

Shane is a complete wanker. I couldn't handle someone telling me to be quiet over and over, like the girls have no right to talk?! And when he got snippy with Val it was only because he'd given up and didn't realise that some people liked the mental challenge!

I just know that when you're trying to work something out like that you need to keep your train of thought and Val doing it out loud like she was would have destroyed that - so yes it would be annoying
but Shane totally needs to pull his head in!

Fev - He never used to listen to his wife???WTF
\
probably one of the many reasons they separated for a while
I think he's had a major wake up call - possibly brought about by the separation and seeing that his wife coped just fine without him and realising that the world doesn't revolve just around him and he needed to reset his priorities in life

he really has been a surprise to get to know via this show

Warnie - not so much! at first he seemed to be turning perceptions around but its circling the drain now!

I actually do agree, it would've been really hard to concentrate if she was talking while they were working it out. But he got snippy with her way after everyone had given up because the bacon was burnt. He didn't like that they were continuing to work it out when he thought there was no point, they'd already lost. I just thought it was unnecessary to tell them to quit trying to work something out if they enjoyed doing it :)
