Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2016) - Episode Discussion

One star in a triple treat trial. Should be kicking off by the end of the weekend after three days of minimal food. But like someone else posted, no one could have done that trial. If the crocs weren't hungry, they weren't hungry.

...yeah I think that it was me that said that or something similar...that was ridiculous to only give them one star when those crocs just didn't want anything to do with the challenge... it makes me wonder if they fed the crocs before the challenge just so that they fail the task so as to starve the camp which in turn will create tensions and then arguments which in turn gives good ratings... what's stopping them setting up a task so that it deliberately fails?... cheers.

There was a scene before I think with Havana and Laurina talking down by the river about how Anthony has been snubbing Laurina from day one.

...as I mentioned earlier tonight... did you see the foul look that Anthony gave towards Laurina as she walked back into the camp after the challenge?... he gave her the dirty look even before they announced that they had failed the task... I believe that he can't stand her because she raised her standing in the camp by completing those other tasks so well... let's face it... what the hell has he done so far in the camp to earn any merit whatsoever?... he's not even bland... he's camouflage... he blends in with the trees and we see nothing of him... and he has the hide to look down his nose at Lauren?... they didn't even want him to do the 'jungle song' task... I just hope that he goes next... cheers.

It's funny how people are perceived. I read some comments on here tonight before the show so I was prepared to see some less favourable behaviour from Anthony... but I didn't see that. I honestly don't think he did a thing wrong, and Havana calling him a "(something) bastard" was the nasty act.

I also still love Mr Callea :)

That did cross my mind, but then they gave them the music challenge to win more food for camp. The barbecue prize negated the effects of the one star somewhat (or have I got the timeline off?).

...the thing is Meglos... Havana has been living in that camp with Anthony 24 hours of each day since the show began.... I don't think that she would be that nasty to him unless it is a culmination of several observations that she has noticed about his attitude towards Lauren that made her say what she did... the Producers of the show haven't shown us any of those likely contributing factors as of yet... I've no doubt that if they still continue to bicker with each other then they may show those escalating clips... well that's my theory anyway... cheers.

I get what you're saying there. My reaction was to want to rewatch it again, I'm not exactly sure what I think about that argument yet. It was always like that with BB too, I would read the reactions on here, then it wouldn't seem as bad when I watched it.

...yeah true that... they didn't exactly go 'hungry' did they?... but I was kind of saying that failing the challenges in general... (maybe I didn't word it correctly?)... there's really nothing stopping them 'rigging' it to fail no matter what the campers do in any future challenges is there?... (perhaps I'm just a cynical little git eh?... lol!)... cheers.

...I tell you what people... I would love to go to Africa one day just to fly over those big table top mountains over there... they are absolutely breath-taking... Lindsay... please tell me that you have flown over them or have seen them for yourself... I can only imagine how great they look... cheers.

Argh, it looks amazing, doesn't it?

I have a question if anybody could be so kind as to answer. Dean's accent sounds very south african but I thought he was australian who had pursued his career( acting?) in USA.
Maybe its just my ears cos he sounds to me like a south african test cricketer more than an aussie with a generic cultivated american accent.

He was born in South Africa and moved to Australia several years later.

Thanks. I had no idea he was born in SA. Did he have that accent on Australian Idol? I didnt see much of it and cannot recall.

Yeah he always had that accent, it doesn't seem to have been Americanised much to my ears.

Dean really cracked the shits at his "headline" didn't he? thing is, he must have spoken about his virginity in the first place, should have realised the gutter press would pounce on it.[DOUBLEPOST=1454854046][/DOUBLEPOST]Loved Val's response to her headline, No she didn't lose her Logie - but Sheila Florence did :D

I didn't get to watch - but my choice for chucking out was Courtney or Dean, In fact I want Dean chucked out next. Love all the others
