HOW has David been strategic?

It sounds like winning BB USA is more about who is the best competitor. Would that be accurate?

Being a good competitor is one key to winning Big Brother USA, but having a good social game is another key. You can be a great competitor and have a terrible social game and it won't get you very far. If your social game is terrible and you don't win Head of Household, you will most likely be the first one out the door. Making alliances is also important. The stronger your alliance is the better your chances of one of your alliances members winning HoH and you being safe for the week. With our Big Brother the competitors don't have to worry about if America likes them or not because America has no say in who wins.

While Big Brother USA and Australia are 2 completely different games, I enjoy the different aspects of them.

Strategy Dave came about as part of general bullying against him to try and make him undone. David however has embraced it and not really realised they were having a go at him.

It probably came about from him shaving his beard and the fact he is just a bit more open about his thinking which would also come from being isolated a bit in the house.

Didn't "strategy Dave" come from him calling Skye "Strategy Skye"?

Something dull like that, anyhow.

Exactly, and the only thing I'd like to add is...you have to lie you ass off more in the BBUS game. Seems with AU, many of the HG's can be themselves more with each other because it's a popularity contest with Australia. You get to see a lot of their redeeming qualities while with our BB we see the manipulation and a whole host of ugliness.

It's surprises me that posters have forgotten how the nick came about. It wasn't a compliment either, it was yet another 'subtle' dig at Dave from Lisa and her crew.

They were calling him 'Strategy Dave" when he was doing to superman thing as part of the yes/no challenge. 'Strategy Skye" came about when the housemates saw Skye's nominations for 54 seconds as part of the powerplay.
