He just seems a bit... out there. Like, almost an exaggerated caricature version of himself.

Surely he can't be serious about Bert and Patti's 1977 album being "the best album ever released in Australia". :rolleyes:

I saw somebody comment on this video of Ben on the Facebook page claiming to have auditioned with him. She described him as "He was the weirdest guy hahahah".
 
just wondering would these be their videos that they sent with their application form or when alex m has selected the HMs, then they go back and video them for the promo???
 
In saying all this though, at least this is a fairly large diversity of different people so far. That's a good thing.

I would say these videos have been filmed after the Housemates were selected specifically for the promo's.

Yeah that is what I am thinking. If none of us had seen the Housemates yet and all we were told was that 4 of the housemates were a 41 year old, married Mother of 3, A 27 year old ex solider who fought in Afghanistan, A 23 year old girl from Darwin with an Aboriginal and Malaysian background, and a 30 year old nerdy, gay male we would all be thinking it is quite a diverse bunch of people.
 
all of these HMs are so boring since 9 took over. I hope he doesnt win the last gay Ben that was on was such an embarrassment to gays
 
Hoping there'll still be a second gay in the house... the sexy older one...
