You are kidding me right? I am dealing with this very thing in my work life at the moment.

I think she is just playing up her hairdryer stuff now too, she knows it is entertaining so she goes for it

You do know that the whole hair dryer thing last night she thought was funny, right? She was laughing as much as she was crying. it was hilarious. She saw the humour in it.

And dirty smelly boys don't understand, hair is a separate issue from anything else, it's almost a hygiene routine, well it is actually isn't it?

I am not vain. But I love my hair, and take really good care of it so it's shiny and healthy.

Tahan has great hair, and you can see she takes good care of it - scrunchies are daggy but the kindest thing for long hair.

I believe hair is a different issue from usual vanity and that kind of thing. Hair is like a crop you grow and tend, and cut if damaged, plant again, etc.
And it's something people get pissed off with if you don't groom yourself a little at least.

Bet none of the posters who condemn her for her dryer issues have ever looked after a main of hair down to your waist
 
^ My hair goes down to about my waist and I know what you mean. It takes a lot of work, and it definitely IS a hygiene issue. Not being able to blow your hair out makes it gross sometimes (IMO) and it means you don't brush it out well enough. I don't blame her.
 
Love Tahan but she broke more of Jade's 'girl code' by crying on cue, but not really upset, at the Tim/ice cream/hair dryer stunt part 2.

It just shows that the water works can leak at any time but in a very cynical way.

I think she just laughed so hard she cried.. she didnt really seem upset. What do you mean by her 'breaking jades Girl code' by doing this? Jades 'girl code' was a reference to the unwritten coda whereby other girls (Jasmine) dont try to be with a guy (Ed) that one particular girl (Jade) is already going for. Also, how was Tahan being cynical? Sorry Im just not understanding what you mean by those two things..

I dont judge someone based on looks..ever.
I am judging these people based on motivation.

Tahan cried because she didnt get her dryer. That dryer is not a needed item to survive. Everyone in that house is given a free dryer..its called a towel!

How is that even relevant? I wouldnt go in there and get upset because i didnt have a hair dryer! Towels will dry your hair..so will the sun.

How does that make me high and mighty?!?

I'd like to see you in there, from how you are on these forums you would probably find something petty to whinge about.

Blow drying your hair makes it easier to deal with and a lot of people struggle with their hair if they can't get access to a dryer.
I'm a pretty big tomboy and even I know this.
 
If Tahan wasn't so childish at times I would like her more. She's far form a worthy winner in my eyes. She was growing on me until she started crying again about the hairdryer.

Why? She took it on the chin again and was laughing even though she was upset about it, basically you dislike her because she's got feelings?

She was laughing harder than she was crying. I thought it was a great moment. She definitely saw the humour in the situation, even if she did still want her hair dryer.

**I think I posted nearly the same post earlier in the thread. Oops. Meh. It deserves to be repeated.
