HM Jake is Tim's roommate

I follow Jake on Twitter. He's a fun guy, rarely posts anything about Tim, so don't think he would have much trouble NOT talking about him. I doubt he wants his experience to be about Tim. And he wouldn't want the public to think thats what got him on the show, just being Tims flatmate.

well its a huge bloody coincidence if they didnt know. I doubt it.
 
Interesting though, cos they'd have similar personalities. So who knows.

But have to admit it will be hard for anyone to not at least mention that they live with last years winner.

Actually out of all the guys that I have seen thanks to the leak of the mic pics, I think that either Jake or Lawson will be my favorite guy this season.

Jake's a cool guy from what I could tell from the Post BB thread. But yeah, let's us oldies show up at an audition and hope to stand a chance. Tim's bloody housemate lol plus all the connections we found out post BB that HMs had with previous ones. Okkkkkkk

I agree... if he weren't worthy of being a HM then he wouldn't be in there. I think it's more a question of how people even get that face time.

This past year really opened my eyes when suddenly all these HMs knew previous ones... not because of BB but from before. I don't know the population of Melbourne for example but the chances of say 10 people all having connections amongst each other over 2 seasons of BB in a city of how ever many million seems rather suss.

Hmmm what are the odds really? Still, I doubt they'd put someone in purely for being connected to Tim, but I'm sure a good word helped him out. If Jake is a dud then it's annoying, if he is a good HM then I don't really object. Remember that it was revealed that Tim is long time friends with Bree Amer, now maybe that helped him out maybe not, but no one can deny Tim was a worthy addition to the series. Hopefully Jake is the same, otherwise WTF?!
 
I just fear Jake would have been getting tips from Tim and will just do the same, also the fact its insider knowledge gives him a huge advantage as to what to expect and do!
 
If he is a great housemate I couldn't care less who he lives with.

If he isn't, then maybe I'll be a little upset.

This is a game show people, not a presidential election. There are no rules that the housemate of a previous player can't enter.

I don't see Alex casting him simply because he lives with @Timdormer -- I'm sure he is an interesting character.
 
Yep he was definitely shown as a tennis player in his package! I swore they said he was from QLD I guess not.....Screen Shot 2014-09-08 at 8.48.57 am.png
