Nope, they're definitely keeping it a secret from the other housemates, despite Tim sneaky effort.
I mean what would really happen if the housemates found out? It seems like Jake can do no wrong with them anyways...

@timdormer did ya enjoy seeing Jake while you were in the house
tim dormer @timdormer
@bornin1998 haha I was VERY sneaky. Kept asking him uncomfortable questions about who he lived with etc. hahah!

Gunning for ya
Maybe revealing it would somehow compromise Jake in the house? Like "It's not what you know, it's who you know"I think Tim should have revealed it. Ridiculous.

Considering how they all seem to like him, I think it would be much less of a problem for them to find out now than later, whether it's in the house or not until getting out.Maybe revealing it would somehow compromise Jake in the house? Like "It's not what you know, it's who you know"

Agreed, considering Tim has the power to nominate the Head of Household this week...if this was in certain work environments from a legal perspective it would be known as a conflict of interest, where by people DO have to be transparent and open about relationships to negate any preferential treatment, otherwise it is seen as ethically unsound.
If in the event Tim gives the power to Jake it would also be shamelessly promoting nepotism, also an ethical issue. Why channel nine appears to think they are above this I have no idea.
I thought it was already hinted that the power would be going to David ... I don't think Tim is stupid and he's already said quite plainly he will NOT be campaigning for Jake and Jake will win on his own merits or not at all ...Agreed, considering Tim has the power to nominate the Head of Household this week...if this was in certain work environments from a legal perspective it would be known as a conflict of interest, where by people DO have to be transparent and open about relationships to negate any preferential treatment, otherwise it is seen as ethically unsound.

Exactly.. And WE all know, the general public all know, so why the hell are they hiding it!?

In that case, one would think then there would be no issues with him revealing his relationship....I must have missed Tim alluding to David being chosen and where he stated he would not be campaigning for Jake, in terms of bias though i am sure that would be difficult for it not to influence him in any way ..... as @Beebeebee stated, everyone knows, so why the hell is BB hiding it?
because whilst its supposedly the public who vote him out and we already know the truth it would be the HM's who would have to nominate him in the first place - so why would they give them the fodder for that when they obviously want to be able to use him together with Lisa for a possible showmance storyline PLUS can milk the Tim/Jake thing for as long as it has legs ...In that case, one would think then there would be no issues with him revealing his relationship....I must have missed Tim alluding to David being chosen and where he stated he would not be campaigning for Jake, in terms of bias though i am sure that would be difficult for it not to influence him in any way ..... as @Beebeebee stated, everyone knows, so why the hell is BB hiding it?
PLUS it would be unfair of them to do that to Jake when it may not have been his idea to be telling everyone he was from Brisbane rather than Sydney (did they do that to hide the truth or to manufacture a wider distribution of housemates?) and insisting he could not reveal that information
revealing the info to the HM's could go both ways - some might distrust him and think it gives him unfair advantage and possible favourable treatment from BB and others might want to get closer to him in the hopes they'll become besties and will be able to get to know Tim after the season ...
whichever way you look at it going into that house with any prior relationship to an exHM is not really doing you any special favours

Tim's opinion is BB said Jake was from Brisbane to throw everyone off the scent but it was picked up here once Jake's face was shown that he was Tim's flatmate.PLUS it would be unfair of them to do that to Jake when it may not have been his idea to be telling everyone he was from Brisbane rather than Sydney (did they do that to hide the truth or to manufacture a wider distribution of housemates?) and insisting he could not reveal that information

yes but Jake did go along with saying he's from Brisbane because his intro video shows him in Brisbane - not hanging at Bondi ...Tim's opinion is BB said Jake was from Brisbane to throw everyone off the scent but it was picked up here once Jake's face was shown that he was Tim's flatmate.

yeah Jake and Tim had to agree to go along with it, once BB found out they were flatmates....or something like that.yes but Jake did go along with saying he's from Brisbane because his intro video shows him in Brisbane - not hanging at Bondi ...
Jake had auditioned in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and supposedly was chosen before they knew he was Tim's flatmate
Tim's comes clean about Jake being his flatmate around 3 min mark
