I don't think that it really matters at all if there is a deity element attached to it. Did Mikkayla's school come out and support her last year? Was she at a private or state school? I don't know the answer, just wondering.

I don't know if her school came out and supported her last year. The difference is, Pritians ON HERE have made claims that the Principal at the school Priya works, HAS supposedly endorsed idolatry and blasphemy by allowing students to post Pritian posters around the school. Given the school Mission Statement (Catholic Identity), I find that highly unlikely. http://www.olsh.catholic.edu.au/community/catholic_identity

If I was a private school principal, I wouldn't want to make a statement about a television show unless it was actually a documentary on my school/education etc. Also, Big Brother is obviously a lot less respectable as a show than My Kitchen Rules. One claims to educate people on healthy eating (idk about how effective that is) and well Big Brother is Big Brother - turkey slap stigma is still strong. Why would a school want to be associated with the show?

It's a reality show and as CH9's version is clearly PG rated, then again, your point is moot.

And, come on, don't get all legal on me! Most private schools would include a condition giving rise to a right to terminate if a teacher acted in a way that was against the school's behavioural standards or was in some way associated with something negative. So that's a moot rebuttal on your part there.

Firstly, If she is under contract they cannot fire her. They CAN however not renew her contract with or without cause once it has expired.

The thing is all this woohaa and the Pritian stuff is NOT Priya's doing but that of a fan, which has unfortunately for Priya, near gone viral. When she leaves the house, no doubt she will be asked if she has enjoyed the Pritian hype. That will put her between a rock and a hard place. There IS a code of conduct whether it be with a private school, religous school or state school she must adhere and it has everything to do with the School in question's MO. The Pritian stuff flouts it. I even reckon she removed her bindi to comply with the standards she had to meet to work there.


But yes, I'd like to hear what the school has to say - and if they aren't happy and issue a Public Statement, I'll drop it 100%. I love Priya for who she is, anyway.

You should know I will be honest with the feedback I receive. You dropping it though may mean nothing as others STILL see the ramifications to this womans RL, as a joke. At least you now are getting my point... I hope?

It has been said that student have been allowed to put up the Pritian style posters, in fact Mrs Butterface was one such person to make the claim.

I do not buy it so I am going to the Principal to ask if this has actually happened in the school.

If the truth has been told by the Pritians then I fail to see the issue in calling to confirm what they have said is true. :)

I don't think they allowed it ... I doubt a catholic school would give PERMISSION for students to do this.

I don't have an issue with you calling the school. Go for it .

I just think it's fucking mental and weird

I am not even a religious person anymore but I truly think this little "joke" will affect her in RL. I don't like her but I don't think her career should be even compromised by some shits and giggles "cult" like crap she personally has not even agreed to.

They are a beautiful couple. I hope they are both as proud as punch of her stay in the house, however long it lasts, and that they are both warmed by the support of those who've voted for her and enjoyed her presence, and campaigned so happily and with such brio and panache.

I don't care if you have an issue with me calling the Prinipal or not.

You may think it's mental and weird, but that may be where you and I differ. I like to hear the truth of the matter. Again people have been making claims on here and I want to hear from the horses mouth, whether it's truth or not.

Why is it weird and mental for you for someone to want to know the TRUTH of a matter so going to the "source" so to speak, rather than just believing crap at face value and not giving a rats arse if there is truth behind it or not?
