Has Abiola left the house?

Abiola has been a disappointing housemate. She had a lot to offer but chose to sleep and hold back from contributing in an attempt to fly under the radar instead. If her exit was a medical thing fair enough, but overall she was disappointing and took the spot from somebody who might’ve appreciated it more.

Would be a amusing event if they offered random incentives to leave Drawing $$$$$ from the winning price pool
With the condition the taker had to remain in the house for 24hrs

I reckon maybe they kept offering money going higher until someone took it and walked.
Would’ve been funny/a shit show if they did it like in BBuk 2016 when Jason took the money and had to evict someone.

At least they didn't do what that idiot in the White Room did in 2007 and left for a pathetic amount of money - I remember from the recent marathon Gretel told him afterwards that they had been prepared to offer significantly larger amounts of money had he waited.

If it was legit offering of money to leave, then why so much censorship on the feeds?

It’s kind of annoying that they are trying to cover it all up, is that really in the spirit of big brother? I think not.

Its kinda fucked that they're even trying. Hell, news leaked in 2013 that Nathan walked and gave his place in the house to Madeline - and we didn't even have livefeeds that year. So how they thought they could cover it up AND keep the livestream going is laughable.

It's such a weird thing to censor, as if we wouldn't figure it out immediately. Ironically, the people who do watch the live feeds are more inclined to watch the daily shows so it's not like there's any real concern of viewer erosion (and it's not nearly enough of a twist to drive a viewer influx either).

I would respect it more if they took the feed down entirely and owned the blackout. That would at least build some anticipation and respect the time of the people who tune into the live feed. Not that it really matters, they seem intent on pissing away the little good will they have left.

It was figured out straight away that she’s left for money as they were already advertising a walkout. I’m more interested in the family meeting which was being talked about before the stream was off for hours. Clearly some sort of big argument happened that same day from little things heard since. There’s a lot of tension in the house right now without people being able to talk about it without flamingo being called. I’m guessing it wasn’t shown cause the Abiola exit was happening as well so they just turned off the whole stream. We better find out tonight.

I didn’t know they advertised the walkout before she was suspected of walking out. What time was the first ad spotted out of interest?

Will be interesting to see how this plays out as such a twist should be open to any eligible housemate, though in this case would have to exclude the nominees. Nowadays though producers shamelessly pick HMs for such twists - though if they're clever they just wait till their chosen one is the only person near the diary room to call "a housemate" to the diary room, and of course can just say it's a battery check or something if the "wrong" housemate answers their call. In this case suspect they might try and justify it by housemates being called in alphabetical order.

It's a twist though which really doesn't have any jeopardy in such a short series - it's a no brainer to take the money just over a week from the end of a 4 week series. If it were a three month series and you were offered that twist a month in it would feel like you're sacrificing much more of the experience by leaving early, and similarly if it was towards the end you'd probably feel like you'd put too much time in to throw away the chance of winning so close to the end.
