There was Damian Hoo as well from 2002..not that he was memorable he was evicted first.Ii only remember him because he was my sons sport teacher at school :P

I started out liking both Ben and Stacy but their complete lack of empathy for the targets of their hostility turned me off them little by little. Ben and Stacy actually forced me to become an Estelle fan and I will never forgive them for it ;)

Go Ben.. Go HOME.. Go home so I can stop caring what happens to Estelle!
 
I think he has a lot of Empathy for his venting he always apologizes and tells them he has been talking about them,if you had no empathy you wouldn't be sorry...His whole problem is he doesn't keep his views on people to himself and he did say he was like that in his video so i have no idea why people are surprised...I commend him for admitting his faults to be honest!
It's not backstabbing these people are his short term friends that he was thrown into it's venting no matter how people sugar coat it to suit there views he can't escape them so instead of holding it in and writing a tell all book later he lets it out there and then!

Elise was evicted second in season 2006 after Tilli in a double eviction on the 1st eviction of the series on Day 15. There was another Asian in 2002 evicted 1st known as Damien. My favourite Housemate of all time Michael McCoy A.K.A the INSIDER! was evicted on Day 36 also in series 2006. Greatest Housemate of all time to spend less than 40 days in the House. And finally Nobbi in 2008. Only entertaining housemate in that whole series but he was a dickhead but I still liked him aha.

From what I have seen he generally only says sorry when he has been caught and he acts as if saying sorry is all there is to it. How many times would you accept someone's apologies if you kept finding out someone was backstabbing you again as soon as they had finished apologizing to you for doing it?

When I say sorry to someone it usually means I am ashamed of what I have done and intend to try not to do it again. When Ben says sorry to someone it seems to mean he simply wants to escape paying the price for his bad behaviour and has no intention of changing his ways.

Hi GF,

I keep seeing these people in the LOVE Estelle sections and they say much nastier stuff there than I am saying here so I thought I'd follow their lead and pop in to rain on their parade a bit.

Did I do wrong?
 
All they talk about is how lovely and peaceful it is on their new anti-Estelle page. In fact they had to change the original name because it made them sound like bullies. I might add, the few that do post on there are the rudest antagonist on the OBBP. Half of them have been blocked.

No idea how you've come to that conclusion. There's so much missing, how can any of us know what motivates any of them to do whatever they do?

I think he probably apologises because he judges himself very harshly (as per the "I'm a terrible person" diatribes he seems to go on semi-regularly) and understands the need for tolerance in this very weird situation. He vents and bitches, then apologises for doing so, so he can reinforce his "good person" desire.

But that's just my take on it, obviously.
 
I say sorry to people in the workplace even if it is their fault, or the result of some kind of mutual miscommunication. If it is a client, I have to be in the wrong, even if I'm right. If it's a workmate, it's often best not to pile all the blame on one person if you expect to have a happy workplace.
So, maybe Ben is treating BB a bit like a job. And yes, I know he says he has been fired from every job he's had. Not saying he's necessarily doing a good job with his apologies, or that they are always heartfelt, but maybe he is trying to change that part of his behaviour.
