There are also over 500 power poles lost, I am not on that grid, but I would not be suprised if we lose power, as we have had many surges in the last 4 hours

hooleydooley - thinking of you tonight
have been where you are now - with fires very close
sorry about the pizza - guess nows not the time to tell you we had one tonight ;)

LOL, all good - saved me a few calories LOL - I was more concerned really about getting my pet food!
Was it a good pizza and what did you put on it?????? :)

To be honest I realised too late that it should've been hyphenated. The window for editing is too small which can be frustrating and annoying.
'Fail-safe', even :p

Grammer Gestapo's should either set the standard with THEIR use of correctly spellt words and the like OR simply keep their "autocorrect" eyes and ears closed.

Case In Point:

You both use words that do not appear in any Webster's Dictionary or Funk'N'WaggonWheels Encyclonepaedia

"lol" is NOT a word
'blood bank' does NOT require capital lettuce, lower case will suffice
"Hm" will score you sweet fuck all at Lexulous and in the sack.

Please practiss what you preached.

Tar

It wasn't a bad day really. Just got home from the Blood Bank. Donation number 333.

I really should take a leaf out of your branch attached to your tree book and donate as well !
333 donations to the blood bank is highly commendable
And to think, i could have eclipsed that number last year alone if i had visited the sperM banK each fiddle as opposed to selected walls, mirrors, tissues, body parts or soggy biscuits.

Food for thought
Batter for babies.

update - the fire is now moving closer - an advice has been updated for roads about 5klms from here and including my local Beaches ......... they say there is no immediate danger, BUT - it is on the radar :(

I am feeling that the bag I packed, to head to perth yesterday, maybe not enough ..... I may need to take my Nutri Ninja as well ........ I am feeling a bit out of sorts atm.

I have gathered up all of our woolen blankets and chucked them in the boot. I have filled every plastic bottle that was around with water and chucked them in aas well. Just in case ........

They say to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants and heavy boots but I packed the flanno shirts and jeans away and well, it is so hot here :(

Oh my! Don't hesitate to go if the word is given. Your safety is more important.

update - a small town about 30klms north from here has been wiped out. Yarloop. Devestated. Devestating. I know people from there ...
Not that it matters, but I will not be looking pretty at work tomorrow from the puffy cry eye tears

As long as you meet the eligibility criteria, I'd say go for it. It's a worthwhile thing to do. I've been donating since 1980, just after I turned 18. I donate plasma these days, not whole blood. Blood Bank - proper nouns. Capitals.

sorry for the bombardment of posts, but I am in shock of what has happened in the last 24hrs.

I planned a sudden exit and holiday, just for a little while, just to get my head together and time away to work out my future and now it has been all turned back and now being trapped and isolated, from the big smoke - from a bigger smoke is all so daunting:(
Has got scarey since our town went under advice ......

I am looking around and trying to work out what I really need to take ......... I know I am wishing I had a Shower this evening, and put on my comfy pretty jarmies ....... LOL ........ I am sure we will all be aok, but I am a bit frightened and very scared, especially for my dog and cat.

Can't believe I did a sort of Thelma and Louise thingo yesterday (sort of) to be turned back to all off this!

Karma is kicking arse, maybe?

Love everything that is close to you. You never know when you are going to have to fight a battle, you never intended to be involved in

xxxx

Peace Out HD

Oh wow. That is a bit full on. Crossing fingers for you.

Do I ever! Oh but no bottom drawer here, that stuff gets proud display on my mantel piece - why hide it?
I don't have any children, but my arm wouldn't need much twisting to do Ricky Martin to save someone else's. That's how selfless I am.

Hm, Ricky and/or Ruby.
I have never really understood the George Clooney thing as much as I should, according to popular opinion, lol, and I absolutely don't get the Ryan Gosling thing.
Definitely George Clooney.

Good Moanin OT Thread!!!

The sun is up, the birds are singing and I am faced with a myriad of choices on how to spend this day.... which includes the possibility of laying in bed all day!

You are a member of this forum. You have been subconsciously preparing for this moment since joining on 30 March 2014.

Fighting battles we never intended to be involved in is what we do best.

Love sent. Xo

The first real bushfire I have ever experienced was at the foot of Mount Coolum, and the roar of it was frightening.
