Hi Everyone, Thankyou all for your kind words, and thoughts, @Trala ,@Insomniac ,@Isee ,@Meglos ,@Affable ,@shaydee ,@Inigo Montoya ,@qtkt ,@jessy_girl ,@bleachy_dude ,@mutleyp ,@Tuttle ,@hooleydooley ,@crimmy ,@Mooseface ,@Khun Khun ,@el'coopo & @Mr Stickyfingers . Hope I havent forgotten anyone. @shaydee, I cannot imagine how hard that was for you losing your child, and I felt the same as you, next day I thought how can people just go on as if everything is fine, when my world has stopped. @hooleydooley , I believe some of us have that gift, and it sounds like you have. I was asleep when I got the call in the morning. I felt it too before I was told. I dreamt about my dad the sunday night. I have never felt this grief before. This is the first death of someone truly close to me, (other than a miscarriage) someone that I loved deeply, he was such a kind hearted man, who was so selfless. Its going to be hard. I know I am not the only one to go through a loss, but right now, I am just so incredibly sad.I thought he would have a few months more. And I am so angry also with how the last month he was treated by some drs. And I am so sad that he suffered in the last few weeks. I was trying so hard to get him in to see a Palliative care specialist, but I kept getting vetoed by his specialists. I feel like I have let him down. Im sorry, blubbering my personal thoughts,

Please post as many personal thoughts as you like it it will help, but by no means feel obligated to. You absolutely did not let your father down and your recent posts her alone prove that. No, you're not the only one to go through a loss but that doesn't matter, this is happening to you right now so don't feel as though you aren't allowed to grieve or mourn. Please take care of yourself and be kind to yourself during this time xxx

It sounds to me like you did everything you could for your dad, including giving him the personal love and care and support you could. I'm sure he appreciated you!

I'm house sitting a house with a little menagerie of animals. One little scaredy dog, a rabbit, a goldfish, a chicken and a bully rooster.

Dogs are usually good with me but this one is trying to avoid me hehe. It's my mission to be friends before the week is out.

I watched some movies from their collection yesterday, Paper planes is a cute little Aussie film -- plus I learnt how to make this cool cylindrical paper plane in the special features! Then Hugo which is not really the kind of thing I expected from a Scorsese film, but I did enjoy most of it.

House sitting is kinda like a holiday that you get paid for. Most of the day I've been on the lounge reading. Pretty sweet deal to get paid to do this.

Oh that's good that you get paid to do it! I've done some housesitting previously but never for money. It is nice to stay somewhere new, especially when it's somewhere bigger and nicer than my own home (which is not difficult). These days I find it more of a hassle to do it, but you're right it does have that holiday vibe to it, like a holiday rental or something, which is always nice.

Yeah to be honest I've been thinking of telling them I don't want money. They offered though! It's not exactly hard work :)

I haven't done it very often.

No, that's good, they obviously value your help and are happy to pay.

Some people are like professional full time house sitters, they don't necessarily get paid but use it as a way to get free accomodation and save money. That would have to be long term arrangements though surely, that sounds annoying and unreliable to me, what if you don't always have somewhere to look after? And long term you'd think the owners would be wanting sub let. Anyway, despite my confusion it's totally a thing that people do. Maybe I should do this...

Yeah that would be too unplanned for me. You would have to have somewhere to crash if you didn't have a house to sit.

I've seen people on gumtree and the like looking for somewhere to house sit for free for a year, that's highly optimistic I think!! Basically they just want to skip rent and mortgages haha. But yeah, way too unreliable for my liking.

Oh and YES re: Bieber. I knew I had it in me so I'm not altogether shocked for myself, but for him to be a legit artist is a surprise I must admit. Purpose is sooooo good!

This is like when Guy released Battle Scars!

So, I bought the Nutri Ninja IQ today - and also heaps of Veges and Fruits and Nuts and Seeds etc .......

I want to get some energy and protein powders as well, too add - hope I don't OD LOL

Thanks for the Combined Christmas/Birthday $$$ Mum!

I actually paid the same price for it, as I paid 13 years ago for My Out of Date Breville Juicer -

I've been interested in this too so I'm really keen to see what you think of it as I'm procrastinating with my decision lol.

Well, I am glad I waited until after Christmas, because the discounts are huge! At my local good guys, I was told that the Ninjas were the best sellers! I was going to buy the Infusion 700watt for $99 ($100 off) but ended up getting the 1000watt for $170 (was $250) Just because I wanted the POWER LOL

I'll post a few of my Juice recipes somewhere, sometime if you are interested :)
