I was supposed to work on Chrissie Day - but they cancelled that due to small bookings - so I am having the day off :) Back to work on Saturday - I don't Mind !
Got a Gift of 4kgs of Freshly Cooked Tiger Prawns to share at lunch tomorrow (they are in shortage here) and they are HUGE!!!!!!!

Might feel like this later on


Please look after yoursself and others and remember to not over indulge LOL
 
Merry Christmas BBB Friends, Foes and Fucktards!!!

It's Christmas Day and I am off to work... where I get to enjoy a free baked dinner, earn double time, not have to endure hours of travel to get to family, and I do it while being viewed as the ultimate selfless martyr. And to my nursing friends in here who got stuck with night shift:- enjoy the full moon! Ha!

Enjoy your day, however you choose to celebrate it!

Well thank fuck that's over for another year!

Working with a hangover means three nursing definites.

1. There will be an exploding colostomy bag
2. All patients will choose the stinking scrambled egg breakfast option
3. There will be a post surgery delirium screamer

It's going to be a verrrrrrrrrrry long day :(
 
OH MY GOD!!

Just walked into the kitchen and my partner forgot to put the left over baked ham in the fridge!!!

3-4 kg of delicious burnt honey and orange glazed salty goodness straight in the bin!!

Water Intake - Water Intake - Water Intake... Everywhere!!!!

I did not do Christmas this year ...... I splurged on sleep and dreams! I love my dreams.

So, I now have 3kgs of Fresh Tiger Prawns that are like 7cms long and 3cms thick that a crayfish or lobster would be so jealous of!
They were a gift from my boss YUMYUM!

Sucks to be far away from RL familly this time of year

NOOOOOOOOOOOO - Are you sure it needs to be binned?

It is Cool here, so I would imagine it would be OK if it was here - Is it hot there? Isn't the meat cured? I don't know I just hate waste :(

So - I am hitting the Boxing Day Sales - I have done my homework and going to get a Nutra Nija IQ :) Maybe ....
Or I might get the Nurti Infusion - $100 price diffemce on those ........

I might just get an ipad too need to research more for the ipad

I have a regular and a mini. I use the mini much much more. I got wifi only. I figured I am almost exclusively going to only want to use it in wifi areas. And on the rare occasion I am not in wifi I hotspot to my phone.

I got an air2 64gb wifi only for Christmas... Well husband was doing the good ole 'don't know what to get u ...' And I've been wanting to get one for ages so said I'd get one and that could be his Christmas gift ...

I was told the 16gb is sufficient unless going to save pics and movies etc ... But have a thing about spending all that money only to realise I did need more gb ... At the time I was looking and checking prices Officeworks were the cheapest ... and the 64gb was only $10 more than the 16gb and about $100 cheaper than Apple, Jb Hifi etc

I wanted bigger screen than mini as my main reason for getting it was to FaceTime with my mum in NZ ... We talk a lot on the phone but now can sit and chat face to face ... Even took it to the office and introduced her to the boss who she's been trading jokes with over the years (I print them out for him and say this ones from Mum and he tells me a joke and says 'send it to your mum')

I didn't want to spend more and get cellular + wifi as I can't justify the added expense

Any way good luck with choosing what's right for you :)

I've never been a huge fan of Christmas, but I never knew why. Anyway, I must be becoming less bitter in my old age because I legit enjoyed this year. Maybe this is a new and improved Jessy who will fully embrace the festive season, well let's see next year anyway.

I've eaten soooo much since Christmas Eve and the worst part is I'm not seeing my Italian side of the family until tonight, so my food intake will at least triple between now and tomorrow.

I'm a bit of an over-handwashing germophobe, but personally I think you can cut maybe a centimetre off the outside surface and if still concerned use the ham in a bake or stirfry that cooks it again.
