Sorry for being a day late, have not had a minute to myself till now. Christmas eve I came down here, took my nephew's to the beach and then was up till 1:30am wrapping presents with my sister and putting together a swing set and bike. Christmas day was woken up at 5:30 am.

Was a really good day, first year I have not spent Christmas with my parents. Still a good day, went to my sister's friends house for lunch, then drinks at sister in laws house. Had jelly shots for the first time. I was in bed by 8pm 😵

Was showing the 7 year Star Wars a New Hope. Sadly he fell as keep during the movie. :( but now I have some quiet time :)

I am so relieved it is all over!

One thing fo sho. My pay packet next fortnight is going to be fat!!!

Did anyone torture themselves with Boxing Day sales? I wanted a couple of rugs, so I ducked in to the Homemaker Centre after work and at 16:00, and it was still packed. On the upside, the two rugs I was looking at last week were half price, so I saved $560!! And I was literally in and out within 8 minutes!

I saw those jelly shots. Looked yum! I was in bed pretty early too. Didn't wake up until around midday. Well didn't get out of bed until then.
I need to show my nephews the original SW movies so I have another excuse to see it at the cinemas.
I wouldn't mind seeing it in 3D.

That's why I was trying to get the 7 year old to watch ANH. Taking him to see The Force Awakens. He got a Chewbacca mask for Christmas, he has hardly taken it of, every time you open its mouth it make a wookie noise.

I'm happy Christmas is over and I'm happy I convinced my sister to not go all out on the presents this year, last year the boys got so many presents... It was just too much.... And the majority of them are already broken. Kids Dad is coming down tomorrow and having them for the day. My mission is to clean out Mr 2 rooms.

TMI but the scab came off on Christmas afternoon. It feels quite tight and I still can't sleep on that side.

Unfortunately I think it's too shallow to actually leave a scar:-( haha.

I had a great Christmas Day. HEAPS of laughs with my family playing pie face!

I'm sorry to hear about your ham, the following weeks of left over ham is such a great thing after Christmas.

Our friend Shadow's Da passed away peacefully this morning.

She is understandably heartbroken.

Gracie, I feel sure your Dad always thought of you when ever he heard this psalm play.

@shadow2 im so pleased you got to enjoy one last Christmas with your dad happy and smiling. Cherish these memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the difficult period of adjusting to life without him around. Xx
 
...shadow2... my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dad my friend...my dad passed away 12 years ago... mum 2 years ago and I still think off both him and mum all the time... memories are so precious... cheers.:)
