Unfortunately by the time we were working out a name for Miss 10, we had a nephew Tyler, so didn't want anything that similar. Geez I loved that name :p

Oh stoopid Tyler! I know a girl who has the same name as her cousin, their mothers are sisters and very close. I guess there's no reason why you can't but it seems very odd and needlessly confusing to me. At least the surnames are different I guess.

I could never do the old 3D (red and blue lenses or green or whatever they were) but have found that modern 3D doesn't give me a headache.

Avatar (this time the blue people movie) was pretty stunning in 3D, I even saw it at IMAX 3D.

I had absolutely no interest in Avatar, the look of the aliens turned me off, like blue Robert Pattinsons... So I never saw it at the cinema, and had no interest until my dad bought the blu-ray and said it was fantastic in 3D. I still wasn't keen but I watched it, and was totally converted, it was great.

We are going to see if the internetz gods can provide the movie to us in the comfort of our home. If not, we will probably go & watch it over the Christmas break. Everything is better on the big screen :D But I don't think I could do 3D.

I was obsessed with Star Wars as a kid - collected all the figures. Lost interest in it as I grew up, and by the time the second trilogy came along I watched the first one without much enthusiasm - and hated it. the whole Jar Jar Binks thing and the child actors, not for me.

The new one looks fantastic though.

It does seem to create a male/female divide. Yesterday in the supermarket I was buying the paper and there was a free poster kept behind the counter. The checkout lady asked me disdainfully if I wanted the poster and I said sure, and she said she has never seen a Star Wars movie and is baffled as to why anyone would like it.

Yeah the 3D is very good quality in Avatar.

Actually I am the same. I have come to love reading, but over the last few weeks I simply haven't made time for it. I had an apiffanny last night which was satisfyingly sticky and then I realised, the time I waste on forum skull fuckery could be better spent reading, so I downloaded the first book in ages to my kindle app.
I really should try that, download a book, what did u download?

I would be forever annoyed if someone did that to me, so I could never to that to someone else.

I wonder if GL ever regrets his decision to sell?

He took less $ from the film when it was made but asked for all rights for the merchandise instead. That alone made him and still makes him more money than any of the films ever would have.

He is one rich bitch!

@Trala is the story you're looking for Snow White and Rose Red?

Omg!!

OH MY GOD!!!!

If I wasn't a such a heartless cunt of a person, I would seriously have tears in my eyes right now!

I simply can't thank you enough, Kay. You have no idea how I have longed to put a name to this book. I knew there was a bear! As a girl, those two princesses (I am not actually sure if they even are princesses...) were the most beautiful people I had ever seen. I seriously used to draw dresses for them!!! I don't even know what the story is about, but to be able to see those pictures again would mean more to me than you could ever realise.

All I need to do now is find the book!

How much do you want it - Ebay has one for $41+ >> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vintage-...632655?hash=item48862b574f:g:wYEAAOSwxH1ULdwu

You should try local 2nd hand book shops or vinnies. You never know, you could get lucky & find it :)

My church runs a second hand bookshop. I'll have a look in case we have it and then keep my eyes open for you.

Thank you so much, Kay. You have no idea how much this stupid book means to me.

When I find it, I will treasure it forever.

Seeing that cover has really made me reflect on those early days, before life hardened me. I used to draw dresses really badly for hours for them. I wanted to be either of them so much!! Ha! Makes me wonder where my book went.

Glad you found the book Trala (or Coops found it for you). Hope you can get it. I loved little golden books as a kid, don't think me or my brothers ever had that one though.

Bloody spammers! I signed up for Woolworths rewards, and they do send emails of offers... but I just caught the email addy of "costumerservice" instead of customer service. Damnit, they were offering $50 off too (like that would ever happen).

Do you think this is because Woolworths Rewards is onselling your information? They don't need any more bad press atm. Haha.

I must admit it did make me feel a bit paranoid about how the spammer knew I had Woolworths rewards all of a sudden, I'd never had emails from them before. It seems a bit of a shamozzle so far.

Just spent 30 minutes looking and you find one straight away!!
