(can I add that I'm sooooo glad I had sons and not daughters to get through those teenage years!!! I couldn't cope with the squealing and stuff ... mind you ... the monosyllabic answers aka grunts were a bit frustrating ..

only the slight pitch differentation let me know if that was an affirmative grunt or a negative one ... eventually learnt to phrase the questions so that they had to answer in a full subject or at least a couple of real words! lol

LOL. I read that in a specific voice too. One of my bugbears in speech. The weird thing at work is when men of a certain ethnicity call and say like in that teenage way, it's all I can do to not start laughing. Sounds creepy but funny too. Haven't heard it for a while though.
My partner made those out of old crates!!!
The Muttable looks awesome, or it will. I will get some pics but you need to visualise a mirror.

well he's done a great job on those tables ... crates come in handy for all sorts ... i want to make strawberry beds out of some ... and an upright herb garden ...

This is the Muttable in the bedroom. It is made from 2x $7 baskets and a $6 cheeseboard. And the stylings cost $7 in total!!!!

I fear I may be guilty of occasionally adapting some teenspeak. Thank deity it's not a constant thing otherwise I may get my adult card revoked.
And yeah teenage girls are bad news. My sister and I are less than 12 months apart in age and I think my dad aged approximately 100 years during our teenage years while my brothers have proven to be pretty stress free.
