Haha ok my mum got a text from someone and they referred to me as her "beautiful" daughter, like with the actual quotation marks. I feel like I should be offended but surely no one would be so rude. It sounds so sarcastic!!

I know, right? But nah I have to assume it's probably not meant to be. It's a client of my mother's who I met once briefly, hardly enough to form an opinion on me I'd imagine, at least not one she would share with my mum!

They're usually made from aluminium but you can get stainless steel ones these days. There's a bit of an argument over which is better as some people say aluminum isn't good for your health but I think that's a load of crap. My abuela had the same pot for over 50 years and used it daily to no ill effect. Plus I think the coffee tastes better with an aluminium pot.

So I'd recommend if you're looking for a good moka pot you can't go past a bialetti - they are the original after all, plus their design is iconic. Price wise I'm not entirely sure for where you are but I know you can pick them up for about 20 euros in Spain depending on the size.

Danke Consuela. Yes I have induction and am up to the point where I have done lots of research and I now just want the prettiest one! I like the cilios and a couple of the bialettis. They seem to be the dominant producers. Oh I found pinti as well. And I have seen the Alessi cuppola discounted dramatically to something like €40 and it's a cute design but I usually go for an even more modern streamlined look... I'm mainly just being 'fussy'. But I haven't used one before so it's always asking ore people their thoughts....

I spent the last hour trying to sleep, no luck... I really am considering if it would be a good idea to just stay awake...
Also never seen the breakfast club... It's on my to wat h list tho...
