One of the mysteries of the ages.
...why is that every time 'The Fifth Element' with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich comes on I sit down and watch it?... Fox has probably played about 6 times in the last week and I automatically get glued to the TV and watch it yet again... it's on now as I type... it's the same as with 'True Lies' with Arnie and Jamie Lee Curtis... they have some sort of hold on me... weird!... cheers.
can't say I've watched either so I have no clue
but its funny how some movies you can watch multiple times and still enjoy

I take back everything I said last week about Sydney winter, such a gorgeous day today I even managed to get a quick swim in at the beach. Now let's hope the ecosystem learns to adapt and flourish in a permanent summer and it stays like this forever.

Well the nerve of some people..... many many years ago when I was young and stupid, I lent my boyfriend at the time $4,000 for a car, and well soon after that, he left me.... like I said young and stupid, anyway, also at that time I shared a house with a guy that was a Clerk of the courts and he helped me to get back $1000, through garnishing his wages but was only able to get back $1000. Anyway today I get a friend request from him on Face book!!!!

Yep pretty chilly but not that bad and I am a massive cold water wuss. I think maybe the sand and the sun distracted me for just long enough.

Haha wow the nerve! Sometimes people are a bit oblivious to the fact that the other person has beef with with them but it should be pretty clear in this case!

Well it depends - do you actually want to get back in touch with this person? Are you wanting to forgive and forget so to speak, or would you really prefer it just stays in the past where it's been all this time? I guess your options are to either accept the request or not and with that comes at least the veneer of forgiveness slash moving forward, or sending a subtle message that you have not forgotten the past and don't wish to.
Or you can actually send a message and get a dialogue going, maybe get some Rihanna pumping:

Of course. I tend to forgive but not forget and I don't hold grudges, but maybe I'm lucky in that I've never been truly screwed over by someone or experienced something completely unforgivable.
I actually think it's important to not forget, you need to be aware of what people are capable of so that you can stop it happening again. At the same time though, it's not always fair to hold one thing against a person as they can definitely be isolated incidents and don't always reflect that persons character, especially as circumstances change.

Well like I suppose you would be more forgiving of someone accidently littering the ocean, but you would not be so forgiving of like a big evil company dumping their rubbish into the sea? I imagine you would get so sick of it that you would lead the other merpeople in waging a war against the evil company. A war that will rage on for decades, and destroy your beautiful merpeople cities. Devestated, but still with faith in your heart that you will prevail, you launch one final attack on the evil company's ship. After a long battle the merpeople win and the evil president of the evil company is tried, executed, and delicious on toast.

So true..im a forgiving person, and unfortunately I have been walked over by some people, I think I will accept his friends request but not yet, wait a few days and maybe think about it. When I had the courts getting money from his wages after awhile he decided to become unemployed so I couldn't get any more money out of him.. To me that's a low act, one that is hard to forgive. I certainly learnt a valuable lesson though... Never lend money to anyone. If I know someone that's having a hard time financially, I will help them out, but I won't lend money and esp not large amounts
