There are very few travelling murder solvers in real life. Were a murder to take place on the Orient Express, the investigators wouldn't be expected to eat caviar at confession feasts. Or wear spats.

The whole best friends with Kim and shenanigans along with it was cringeworthy. I don't know what I was expecting but not that I guess. From then on I just couldn't see it with a sense of humour. I don't even know why either
I loved Punky Brewster! They use to show it at 5ish in the morning as I got older and would sometimes watch it even then

You are probably right. They couldn't make Jake and the Fatman either without fat men getting up in arms. You might like it as one had a moustache and they solve crime.
