How important is legible handwriting in a job? The reason I ask is because I have terrible handwriting (I form some of the letters backwards, or incompletely) and Mom's convinced no one will hire or keep me around if my writing's not legible.

Yeah it is, my handwriting isn't great either tbh, I have had to concentrate to make it readable to others, but they do say its a sign of creativity Depends really, Im in healthcare so lots of handwriting is involved but I guess depends, most stuff is typed now days, shouldn't be too much of an issue, doesn't hurt to practise though if it is a real issue for you

It isn't to me. I'm agreeing with you about everything being typed. It's my mom that's worried about it. She says I have to practice 45 minutes a day or else I don't eat dinner.
