It isn't to me. I'm agreeing with you about everything being typed. It's my mom that's worried about it. She says I have to practice 45 minutes a day or else I don't eat dinner.

Whoa! I wouldn't even know what to write about for 45 mins, Im not sure of your age, but I am assuming you still in school? what do your teachers say? practise does make perfect, but thats a fair amount of time!

Actually, I've been unemployed for two years now after getting a Bachelor's in Communication Media. I'll be going back to school in January to get a degree in Web Technologies.

Ohh well you should be good man, if you doing computer stuff

Hey @DigitalCorp is it just your handwriting that is "bad" or is it also your speech and reading/comprehension? How about your general focus? Ineligible handwriting can be linked to other things like ADD or speech disorders as well as dyslexia, or it can just be a consequence of motor skills. Working out the problem makes finding a solution much easier.

You seem perfectly illiterate on here so it's probably not linguistic and just motor-expressive. I normally do this with much younger people than yourself but here is what I do, firstly, and I know this sounds dumb but if you really are forming letters backwards its a good start, buy a handwriting book for kids from a newsagent as that will help you get in the habit of structuring each letter correctly. Then start practising small, maybe not 45 minutes but aim for content rather than time. Like say, 1 page of an exercise book or even half to start. Just buy a magazine or something that interests you and copy the words.

Sorry, like I said, this is aimed at young kids but is designed for correcting handwriting, so if it really is a concern of yours it might be worth a shot.

As for employment prospects, well lots of things are done on computer these days and skills there will get you further, especially in the industries you're studying.

Honestly the only way to improve skills and get good at something is to practice. So you're mum is right, but start small and just find something fun or interesting to write about, and be realistic with your goals.

I have Asperger's syndrome, That means my brain is different than a lot of yours. My fine motor skills are a bit underdeveloped, but everything else is fine. I've learned to compensate my bad handwriting with an incredible typing speed of 70+ WPM without errors.

I have been told that I lack concentration and that I rush through my handwriting practice. As I said before, it's not really a concern of mine, but it has become a concern because it could affect my life at home. Coincidence of coincidences, Mom even sang "I've got the power!" (from the current BBAU series' promos). So in a way, this has become my own private task.

Thanks for the advice, @jessy_girl.

Im holding the fort and highlighting the bits not to fast forward ;)[DOUBLEPOST=1410293902][/DOUBLEPOST]

What are the impressive features again? Because from what I've read....well....it's got a faster processer.....and? We already have paywave available on phones...was there actually anything new that isn't on phones already?

I went with a Windows phone for the first time a couple of months ago, though I have an Android tablet and an iPod so I can utilise their respective stores.

I have owned all OS phones previously and, apart from the lack of apps on the WP marketplace, I have come to the conclusion that ALL PHONES ARE THE SAME. WP has a nice UI tho.

Ah ok, well that is a bit different then, but that makes the sense as the two are linked a lot. Practice is still key for you I think. Not necessarily writing either, anything that improves your fine motor skills as that can be a big thing with Asperger's. I did once spend hours with a little girl with Asperger's doing some very tedious activities with beads and pipe cleaners, I'm sure you are past that at your age but it helped her a lot.

Good luck!

What are you writing at the moment?
I'd suggest writing stuff like shopping lists, lists in general and anything with a purpose and which needs to be read again, that way you can train your brain to adapt to those situations.
Don't worry though I have terrible writing so I transferred all my notes to computer!

Exactly!
My main beef with Apple has always been how overpriced their products are and how controlling the software is in general.
You wouldn't purchase a Toyota for the price of an Audi.
