Ooh more hot men and shirtless ensembles! Friday is ending a lot better. *wink. Tax season is a mother effing bitch... Looking forward to next week... Not!
I'm in charge of the clerical duties involved- no fun at all, especially dealing with centerlink, I have five phones on call to them at all times ready for whatever client that needs them, calls on hold, walk ins, walk outs- yeah I'm officially exhausted. Afterwards the boss spared no expense for Friday night drinks... Okay that part was fun. What?! Tax season is FUNNNNNNNN!

Accountant by day, maid by nightAww you poor thing and it's just beginning.I don't mind this time of year for the first month or two cos it keeps me busy then I tire of being so busy and start to hate it which leads me to question why I ever chose tax.

That's fair enough. My boss hires extras around this year. They are happy to take leave from work because he pays them well for their time, while others do their own thing and take this role on part of the year. You might like doing something like that. I do like the fact that some of these people have something for themselves and work for a little bit more extra in their pockets. Still I'm going to complain, how people show up without their group certificate is beyond me smh. Did you get your CPA credentials? Or planning too? I mean if you wanted to get out of tax?Aww you poor thing and it's just beginning.I don't mind this time of year for the first month or two cos it keeps me busy then I tire of being so busy and start to hate it which leads me to question why I ever chose tax.
I'm currently studying at uni... Again! So I know what you are taking about. I'd rather the government pat for me to only study- that would be amazing, wouldn't it? It's worth it to study and work though, if that is any consolation, makes you more organised and motivates you a bit more IMO. What is your job? Are you studying to be an accountant too?You can have my job if you want so I can concentrate on uni. It's.... cruisy![]()

After a long week last week, we drove to the hunter valley gardens Saturday morning for the kids. They had snow time activities and really was lovely weather. I've been to hunter twice before but never did the gardens. They also had the chocolate festival. But let's face it you can't go to hunters without some wine tasting.

Well done! I attempted accounting at uni back in the day, just couldn't wrap my head around it. Much preferred finance. In truth, if I knew what I did now, wish I hadn't pursued the business degree. Useless now. Really hard to make a career out of it with kids which is why I am currently studying to become a teacher. I did get a few good years out if it and have met some great people along the way, like my boss who ventured out on his own and asked me to share a part time role working for him. Great setup for me and I really do love my job at times. Anyways, that's amazing consuela, you're almost there!Ha! I don't think I'd use up my leave to go work somewhere else! Even though I do occasionally complain I actually really like my job as it's pretty decent most of the year.As for CPA I've got one segment left!
