Hello Ning Nongs!

The calm before the storm...

I have baked a ham, made a cheesecake and made a caramel tart - from scratch if you don't mind, in preparation for tomorrow. We are all working day shift, but we will come together at 6pm for a semi traditional baked dinner. I made both my sons and his girlfriends favourite dessert and we also have a Christmas pudding with brandy custard, so I will be wearing an elastic waisted pant for sho!

One more sleep!!

Hello Ratbags!

Had a super busy holiday period trying to balance the Christmas madness with working. I actually worked over the entire Xmas, New Year period so my pay packet should be super fucking duper!!

Glad it is all behind us to be honest. I am now enjoying 6 straight days off and it has been lovely. Not really got a lot planned except to relax, enjoy our beaches and head to Eumundi Markets tomorrow (I love that raspberry licorice you can only get from the markets) and about to go an watch American Hustle, which we are both looking forward to.

I hope you are all well and creating mayhem in you reality!

I'm glad it's over with too. I have two young ones and the grandparents from both our sides are insistent we make them join in all the festivities. It's so much driving for my hubby and I, I'm glad I get to stay at home for a couple of days. On the plus side, my kiddies love it though.

Trala, you deserve a huge pay for working during this time. I hope they are extra generous

Oh yep, heaps of driving with kids isn't a whole lota fun! my mr 4 falls asleep which is good in one way, but then he is wide awake that night cos of the car sleep. Good to hear your kiddies loved it though, makes it worth it :)

so far 2014 has been pretty good - I've discovered the peanut icecream at coles (drool), my kids have somewhere heard the song "The Final Countdown" by Europe & love it which is much better then hearing Katy Perry's Roar on repeat all.day.long. Downside so far is I've become addicted to clumsy ninja:o

Ha! I don't know If I'm ready to be a house husband quite yet, then again at least I have the language down and I'm sure I could adjust to his jet setting lifestyle though I'd no longer be able to bitch about him to family without him knowing. :p
 
Hello OT Ning Nongs!

One, two, three back to me...

I am loving 2014 so far! I started the year with a huge pay packet, had a four week holiday approved for April, then we went to Brisvegas for a few days last week, upside stayed at the Hilton, downside had to endure a day/night match at the cricket. If my 14 year old budgie didn't fall off his perch on Monday, I would say the beginning of 2014 has been a cracker!

I hate to get all sentimental but I am really REALLY missing about 7 of you guys... the other 684 posters in here can eat shit and die.

Hey if you are feeling mentally unwell and you need a reminder that yes you are normal, go pop in and have a read of Jade's Appreciation Thread, I think you will find the dedication and stamina of today's insane stalker will leave you feeling psychologically sound.

Hellllllo OT'ers, long time no talk! I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the laughs, talks and fun the last couple of years, its been a blast! I have decided (unless its a particularly amazing season, which I doubt) that I won't be active this up coming season for personal reasons, (no Im not auditioning) but I will still pop in now and then to check PM's, but again I wanted to thank you all for the fun we have had, I enjoyed every minute! Have fun, play nice, and enjoy :) xx

Thanks Sticky, but we both know that I couldn't have done it without your brilliant photo-shopping skills.

But you are right on one thing... I am "quite the clever lady", and while we are on the subject of basking in my awesomeness, I am also ridiculously attractive, have a personality that sparkles like a star and my vagina has often been considered as the 8th Wonder of the World.
