They are very sweet really, no spittle forthcoming, they apparently only do that when very upset. And they poo in the same pile all the time. And they hum. So far, ideal pet.

They are protecting my chooks & ducks, we have a fox who is stealing my girls so the 'pacas look after them and they can stay free-ranging. A chook yard would be cheaper but the girls like to roam. They will take on a fox apparently, here's hoping.

Cool I live on an island now but was born up in the far north we used to call that permaculture by force. so the pacas wont be shawn?
